  Regulating bioeconomy

  (Re)Making and regulating life and livelihoods across borders: transnational bioeconomy, law, and governance

  Biotechnological industry, researchers, and governments have entered a new constellation, regime, and accelerated phase, called the Bioeconomy. This agenda - which exists in the form of policy, funding programs, white papers, etc. - reimagines how we live, how we live together with other kinds of life, and, directly, these other kinds of life at the molar and molecular level. In other words: All kinds of livelihoods in their social, economic, and ethical relations are put in motion. This agenda is, geopolitically, not restricted to Global North nor contained by any national or international jurisdiction and governance.

  Post doctoral position in risk management assessment in the UK, France, Germany and Holland

  Le Centre de sociologie des organisations (CNRS-Sciences Po) recrute un(e) post-doctorant(e) pour une durée de trois ans, dans le cadre du projet HowSAFE (How States Account for Failure in Europe) qui réunit outre le CSO, les universités de King's College à Londres, Bielefeld en Allemagne et Maastricht aux Pays-Bas. Le / la post-doctorant(e) sera chargé(e) de conduire des enquêtes sur la diffusion d'instruments de gouvernement par les risques dans les domaines de politique publique suivant : innondations, sécurité alimentaire, santé au travail, éducation, système de soins, politique pénale. Il / elle travaillera en étroite relation avec trois autres post-doctorant(e)s basé(e)s dans les universités partenaires. Une parfaite maîtrise de l'anglais est requise.
