    The Health Promotion Forum of New Zealand, the IUHPE and their partners are looking forward to host this important global public health event, in Rotorua, New Zealand in April 2019. The aim is to provide an unparalleled opportunity to link and demonstrate the contribution of health promotion to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to acknowledge the way SDGs contribute to improvements in health and wellbeing.

    The energy transition of European societies: from the city to the region

    The examples of Germany and the united Kingdom

    In partnership with Électricité de France (EDF), Paris Institute for Advanced Studies (Paris IAS) is recruiting two high-level international researchers in the humanities and social sciences (or related fields) for a period of nine months, to take part in a research programme on the energy transition of European societies, with particular emphasis on Germany and the UK, from a city to a regional level. Paris IAS will host successful applicants beginning in October 2014 or January 2015, offering them the opportunity to focus entirely on their research while benefiting from a front-ranking scientific environment, and building lasting networks with university and research institutions in Paris and the Île-de-France Region.

    Lift France 2011 : "Be Radical!"

    Sous le titre « Be Radical ! », la troisième édition de Lift France se focalisera sur l’innovation de rupture : quand la technologie contribue à redéfinir les termes de référence d’un marché, un secteur tout entier, un morceau de société… Des transports à la santé, de l’environnement à l’enseignement, les technologies numériques n’apportent pas seulement une amélioration des systèmes existants : elles produisent ou appuient des approches en rupture, qui transforment les métiers, la nature même des besoins et des services, les modèles d’affaires, les jeux d’acteurs. En 2011, Lift donnera la parole aux innovateurs radicaux dans les domaines de la santé, de l’environnement et de la formation. Il explorera ce que produit l’ouverture radicale des systèmes d’innovation dans l’industrie et les services.
