Talent and its approaches in the social sciences - attributions, markets and mobilities

Ce colloque pluridisciplinaire, organisé par la chaire de sociologie du travail créateur, au Collège de France, réunit des intervenants issus de la sociologie, de l'économie, de l'histoire et du droit pour interroger la notion de talent. Trois angles seront privilégiés : l'analyse des mécanismes et des processus d'attribution de cette mystérieuse qualité ; son rôle structurant dans le fonctionnement de marchés et de systèmes d'emplois ; les enjeux que recouvrent, de ce point de vue, l'intensification des mobilités internationales.

5th international congress “Sport, doping and society”
The 5th international congress “Sport, doping and society” is organized by the Spanish Agency for Health Protection in Sport (AEPSAD) and the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). Under the theme “Think Clean”, there will be presented the results of scientific researches and new methodologies in the field of doping in sport from the specific perspective of Human and Social Sciences. We believe that this initiative will contribute to identify the factors that influence the use of doping substances and methods. From this knowledge we hope to foster future prevention and doping control and to promote ethical behavior in sport.

Looking to the future
The IV International Congress Sport, Doping and Society is organized by the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and the Spanish Agency for Health Protection in Sport (AEPSAD). Under the theme “Looking to the future”, it will be presented the results of scientific researches and new methodologies in the field of doping in sport.From the specific perspective of Social and Human Sciences, we believe that this initiative will contribute to identify the factors that influence the use of doping substances and methods. From this knowledge we hope to foster future prevention and doping control and to promote ethical behavior in sport.

What "dovetailing" and "resistance" in the stakes of local development?
Dix ans après une série de rencontres scientifiques organisées à l’Institut royal de formation des cadres de la jeunesse et des sports (IRFC) de Rabat, au sujet des sports et loisirs analysés sous l’angle des sciences sociales, l’ambition de ce colloque, proposé en octobre 2013 de nouveau à Rabat, vise à poursuivre les collaborations scientifiques à l’aune de nouveaux terrains de recherche. L’objet de cette manifestation consiste ainsi à interroger l’impact de la massification des activités physiques, des sports et de leur intégration au « tourisme sportif » sur les modes de consommation qui lui sont liés (du côté de la demande), sur les stratégies de diversification de l’offre sportive qu’elle soit associative ou commerciale et in fine sur l’économie touristique locale ou régionale.
