C’est justement afin d’ouvrir la boîte noire, tant technique que sociale, de la « normativité » des instruments d’auto-mesure, que la journée d’étude convie à dialoguer des intervenants qui s’intéressent à des aspects complémentaire de la « norme ».

  Corporal norms and deviances through the optic of tourism and leisure

  Les travaux d’Elias, notamment ceux qu’il a entrepris avec Dunning à travers Sport et civilisation. La violence maîtrisée (1994), montrent combien le « spectre du loisir » peut constituer un champ organisateur de la sphère sociale. Un des éléments les plus intégrateurs, et que vient donner à voir de manière plus visible le sport à travers la performance corporelle notamment, est l’engagement du corps. C’est à partir et autour de cette théorie du loisir comme univers de la « dé-routinisation », que nous souhaitons organiser ce colloque. Dans quelle mesure le loisir, ici travaillé à travers le tourisme et les loisirs, permet-il d’engager des questionnements sur la dialectique et/ou la dialogique normes / déviances corporelles ? Comment s’opère cette éventuelle mise en tension ?

  The 5th international congress “Sport, doping and society” is organized by the Spanish Agency for Health Protection in Sport (AEPSAD) and the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). Under the theme “Think Clean”, there will be presented the results of scientific researches and new methodologies in the field of doping in sport from the specific perspective of Human and Social Sciences. We believe that this initiative will contribute to identify the factors that influence the use of doping substances and methods. From this knowledge we hope to foster future prevention and doping control and to promote ethical behavior in sport.

Il ne s’agit donc pas de faire une étude sur le traitement médiatique de la diversité, ou d’engager la profession dans une posture militante qui consisterait à promouvoir cette question de la diversité, mais bien d’interroger et de comprendre l’exercice de la profession de journaliste dans cette configuration particulière et ainsi répondre aux défis de nos sociétés contemporaines.
