  Paradigms, models, scenarios and practices in terms of strong sustainability

  While the notion of sustainability continues to be associated with the Brundtland Report (1987) and the concept of sustainable development, a community of sustainability researchers and practitioners increasingly seeks to emancipate the concept to be consistent with the knowledge and aspirations of the moment. The enthusiasm and expectations for more sustainability go beyond mere environmental issues. They touch on crucial social issues as well. The symposium papers intends to question the paradigms, models, scenarios and practices that embody sustainability. One may wonder what meaning should be given to the very idea of sustainability and the representations it conveys.

  Philosophy, History and Sociology of Artificial Intelligence

  The purpose of this seminar is to position itself at the center of the scientific, epistemological, technological and societal transformations that the developments of artificial intelligence engage. The seminar we propose therefore aims to study AI in its technological / scientific duality, through its historical, philosophical, epistemological, ethical and sociological aspects. In order to understand the modern stakes of this discipline, we will consider it here as defined in its historicity, but also as a scientific tool, tool of knowledge and transformation of knowledge, of understanding, finally as a socio-cultural entity in interaction with its environment, whether it is human or non-human.

  Si les principes du développement durable cherchaient initialement à orienter les manières de faire dans le domaine de l’environnement, la nécessité d’un développement présent garantissant la capacité des générations futures à satisfaire leurs besoins a rapidement mis en évidence le lien intrinsèque entre les territoires de l’écologique, du social et de l’économique. Puisque le développement durable implique avant tout un changement profond des stratégies dans les différentes aires d’action de ces domaines, il devient impératif d’investiguer les approches organisationnelles informationnelles, communicationnelles et documentaires à l’œuvre ou en proposer de nouvelles qui soient aptes à soutenir les efforts déployés par les structures de tout milieu – institutionnel ou corporatif, afin d’assurer leur développement actuel, sans compromettre leur avenir ou celui des individus ou des collectivités.

  Man in organisations and his relationship to knowledge: can indiscipline help grasp the complex?

  L’homme dans l’organisation et son rapport au savoir : l'indisciplinarité peut-elle aider à saisir sa complexité ? L’objectif de ces conférences est de réunir des chercheurs issus de différentes disciplines (management, économie, sociologie, droit, sciences de l’ingénieur, etc.) autour des enjeux et des défis liés à la gestion des connaissances dans les organisations et plus généralement dans notre société. Cette conférence s’inscrit donc dans une perspective interdisciplinaire – voire adisciplinaire – et vise à croiser différentes approches académiques dans le but de repérer et de faire émerger les tendances qui se dessinent aujourd’hui dans les domaines suivants : la société de la connaissance, l’économie de la connaissance, la gestion des connaissances, la cognitique et l’ingénierie des connaissances.
