  5th international congress “Sport, doping and society”

  The 5th international congress “Sport, doping and society” is organized by the Spanish Agency for Health Protection in Sport (AEPSAD) and the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). Under the theme “Think Clean”, there will be presented the results of scientific researches and new methodologies in the field of doping in sport from the specific perspective of Human and Social Sciences. We believe that this initiative will contribute to identify the factors that influence the use of doping substances and methods. From this knowledge we hope to foster future prevention and doping control and to promote ethical behavior in sport.

  Man and air: corporeal practices, inventivity, organisation and territoriality in aerial activities

  Le laboratoire SENS de l'université Joseph Fourier-Grenoble 1 organise le premier colloque européen « L'homme et l'air : pratiques corporelles, inventivité, organisation et territorialités dans les activités aériennes ». De nombreuses disciplines scientifiques sont concernées : histoire, sociologie, géographie, anthropologie, ethnographie, psychologie, économie, droit. Ainsi que les disciplines qui utilisent l'aérien comme outil de recherche (aérostation scientifiques, radeau des cimes, etc.). Le colloque se déroulera pendant la Coupe Icare 2014 du 18 au 20 septembre 2014 sur le site historique du Vol Libre, à Saint Hilaire du Touvet.
