Annde journal no.1 – the international journal of health, eco-economy and innovation

Créée en 2019, la revue Annde est une revue pluridisciplinaire semestrielle de sciences sociales qui publie des travaux originaux (sous forme d’articles scientifiques ou de praticien-ne-s) sur les problématiques de santé, d’écologie, d’économie, de sociologie, d’anthropologie, de psychologie, d’histoire, de géographie et de science politique. La revue encourage et privilégie particulièrement les travaux à caractère interdisciplinaire qui intègrent ou mettent en avant les savoirs endogènes au travers d’enquêtes documentaires et empiriques sur les réalités sociales africaines. Annde offre ainsi une opportunité aux chercheurs et chercheuses et praticien-ne-s juniors et séniors intéressé-e-s par des problématiques sociales, dans l’espace africain, de publier des textes dans l’optique de partager les résultats de leurs travaux de recherche dans les domaines aussi variés que la santé, la protection sociale, les économies agricole et informelle ainsi que les innovations qui y sont associées.

Sonder le vieillissement actif en Afrique laisse entrevoir des interrogations. Comment ajuster sortie relative de l’activité professionnelle, insertion dans la catégorie sociale des personnes âgées et engagement social ? Comment trancher ces deux perceptions des personnes âgées logées dans le regard d’une jeunesse africaine « urbanisée » qui déclame tantôt « les vieilles personnes, quittez ! », tantôt « le vieux est trop fort ! » ? Répondre à ces interrogations, c’est déchiffrer le « mythe de Ngnudoli » ou l’allégorie du tressage d’une natte à partir du sable, qui relate la révolte de jeunes gens résolus à occire « les vieux » de leur village qu’ils jugeaient grabataires.

The European Research Council advanced grant programme “The healthy self as body capital: individuals, market-based societies and body politics in visual twentieth century Europe (BodyCapital)” led by Christian Bonah (université de Strasbourg) and Anja Laukötter (MPIHD, Berlin) on the understanding of body capital and its history, through the twentieth century history of visual mass media (film, TV, Internet) and inédits (amateur, family and private visuals) is now accepting applications for a post-doctoral researcher position for a project related to post-1945 Great Britain.

Questioning current stakes of pharmaceuticals in Africa

We wish to discuss the multiple stakes surrounding pharmaceuticals in Africa today, with particular consideration of their markets, the political and economic actors which they mobilize, related instruments of regulation, control and competition, modes of health care in which they are placed, and finally their modes of consumption by individuals, without losing sight of the adaptation of "traditional medicines" to the evolution of economic models. Regulation, with its broad sense of norms actually at play, legislative, biomedical, technical and commercial, seems to transverse these various questions and will thus be widely considered. We anticipate proposals based on current research for presentation on the seven themes outlined below. Submissions can come from the various social sciences (anthropology, sociology, law, history, economy, geography, political sciences), as well as from biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences. Although Africa is central to this discourse, presentations of studies from other continents will be considered with the aim of drawing links with Africa and enriching the discourse with current situations in African countries.

Dans ce colloque, nous proposons de mettre en perspectives les pratiques alimentaires familiales, et les normes sociales qui les régissent, avec des approches macro, mezzo et micro-sociales des réseaux d’approvisionnement pour comprendre les logiques d’action à l’œuvre dans différentes situations d’alimentation quotidiennes et éventuellement festives. Les communications comportant une dimension comparatiste seront particulièrement bienvenues. Le terme de famille sera entendu ici au sens large qui va du couple sans enfants aux personnes dont les enfants ont quitté le domicile familial en passant par toutes les formes de composition, typologie et recomposition familiale.
