  "The Balfour Declaration" : What centenary

  In order to address this notorious Declaration, we propose a debate on the historical, political and geostrategic circumstances that led to the Balfour Declaration, and how  practical  politics  influences the making of Britain’s foreign policy. The Balfour Declaration and its ramifications at the local and global levels could be tackled with reference to a myriad of theoretical frameworks such as the postcolonial/political theory, new historicism, ethnography, to name but a few.

  La santé représente aujourd’hui un objet partagé par plusieurs sciences sociales : anthropologie, histoire, sociologie, économie, philosophie. Le séminaire, pluridisciplinaire, a pour objectif de construire un espace d’échanges autour de la santé à partir de pratiques actuelles de la recherche et d’offrir une arène d’explicitation, de dialogue et de confrontation entre approches disciplinaires autour de questions et programmes de recherche contemporains dans les sciences sociales de la santé.
