Il a pour but d’approfondir l’étude du rôle des médecins, chirurgiens et apothicaires dans la vie quotidienne des espaces et des personnes de l’entourage royal ainsi que dans la mise en place de stratégies collectives pour éviter, fuir ou combattre les épidémies.

  10th annual symposium of the International Medieval Society

  The International Medieval Society (IMS-Paris) is soliciting abstracts for individual papers and proposals for complete sessions for its symposium which will place in Paris, France, from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 June 2013 on the theme of “Color" in medieval France.We welcome papers from all disciplines. In addition to approaches to color and light in medieval science and art, we invite analyses of the economics of color, the lexis of color, the symbolics and meaning(s) of color(s) in social history and literature, and color in philosophy, theology, and music (notation, embellishment, use of mode).
