  Philosophy and dance in Africa and among its diasporas today

  Corpus Africana festival

  From the 27^th of October until the 10^th of November 2018 the university consortium Erasmus Mundus Europhilosophie is organising, under the title “Corpus Africana; Current philosophies and Dances in Africa and its Diasporas”, an important international meeting, aiming to bring to the heart of arts and humanities university research in Europe the knowledge and the study of “Africana Philosophy”, of choreographic knowledge that is of African or contemporary African lineage in nature. The meeting will take place at the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès as part of the research seminar “Thinking Decolonisation”, in collaboration with the James Carlès Centre of Choreography’s Festival of Dance and the Black Continents.

  Call for papers - Epistemology and methodology

  Shifting Paradigms : How Translation Transforms the Humanities

  Ce colloque rassemblera des spécialistes de divers domaines, qu’ils soient ou non praticiens de la traduction, afin de débattre des recherches actuelles sur les liens entre traduction et sciences humaines. Nous souhaitons plus particulièrement évaluer dans quelle mesure les humanités prennent en compte les spécificités de la traduction dans leur pratique de recherche, et comment l'acte de traduction, loin d'être neutre, est en lui-même un facteur épistémologique majeure de la transmission du savoir dans les sciences humaines
