  Beyond Borders: Mapping Sexualities and the Sexualisation of Spaces

  This international conference will examine the relationship between the notions of boundaries and sexuality from an interdisciplinary, transnational and transcultural perspective. In particular, it aims to map the ways in which space determines sexualities and sexual practices, and to understand, in turn, how sex structures and limits the spaces in which we live, and how we relate to them.

  La mobilité des individus est un élément clé de la vie quotidienne car elle permet de réaliser des activités à l’extérieure de son domicile. Les difficultés à se déplacer, pouvant entraîner la sédentarité ou une mobilité réduite, peuvent en effet constituer un frein à la participation et à l’insertion sociale et faire ainsi apparaître des inégalités. Ce numéro de la revue Populations vulnérables propose d’interroger la mobilité, valeur essentielle de notre société, sous l’angle des vulnérabilités.

  Comparing property markets on an international scale

  While many scholars compare property markets from the same urban area or compare the way these markets distinguish urban areas within a given country, very few propose an international comparison. And yet, this is a main scientific issue. Such comparisons would provide a new angle for studying metropolitan development as well as its internal trends relating to inequality and gentrification.
