  Trade and consumption of Atlantic commodities in the southern Alps

  Four-year PhD position in History (University of Berne)

  The Historical Institute of the University of Bern invites applications for a four-year PhD position in History. The position is scheduled to start on November 1, 2018. The PhD student will be a member of the Project "Atlantic Italies: Economic and Cultural Entanglements (15^th-19^th Centuries)”, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (2018-2022) and directed by Dr. Roberto Zaugg. The prospective PhD student is expected to have good knowledge of Italian, Latin and English and at least basic knowledge of German, as well as practical experience in working with early modern manuscript sources.

  Rural territories 2013

  La MSH Lorraine a récemment organisé une journée « Recherche et territoires ruraux en Lorraine », en partenariat avec le Réseau rural lorrain, afin que chercheurs et acteurs des territoires se rencontrent et échangent. Le présent appel à projets consiste à susciter et promouvoir la naissance et le développement de nouvelles recherches interdisciplinaires sur des questions qui touchent le monde rural. Dans ce cadre, l’interdisciplinarité n’est pas limitée aux sciences humaines et sociales, mais celles-ci devront être associées dès la construction de l’objet et de la problématisation.
