Patrimonializing the living practices. When do uses become heritage?
Annual meeting of the LIEU network 2018
Since two or three decades heritagization phenomenon concerns more and more different objects and scales. Within this frame, is to inhabit the city becoming an object of heritage itself? This conference will focus on processes that transform the ordinary and daily practices – and the spaces in which they take place – in a unique and representative experience, capable to identify, qualify and/or protect spaces of patrimonial value (labeled, ordinary, common heritage, etc.).

Railway high speed and territorial governance
Concerned by the current issues related to technological and social changes, Laboratory IRTES-RECITS (EA7274) of the University of Technology from Belfort-Montbéliard organizes an international conference about « Railway high speed and territorial governance ». This event will be an occasion to create a new space of dialogue, exchanges and interactions, between the academic world and the society, experts and political representatives, professionals and citizens. It will also be an occasion to present the results of our research in this field, related to the Rhin-Rhône High Speed Line, and to confront them to others. This scientific conference will be associated with the organization of roundtables gathering the main actors of the Rhin-Rhône HSL, in order to build a collective image on the impacts of the industrial and institutional changes in progress. An exhibition and a conference-debate open to a large audience will be the occasion to collect experience feedbacks and narratives.
