  Scholarships in Berlin - Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives

  The Study Foundation of the House of Representatives is a grant programme for young researchers from the United States of America, Great Britain, France, and the successor states of the Soviet Union, who want either to work on Berlin along with German as well as German-international issues or to use research facilities in Berlin. The Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives shall contribute to the further development of a generation of young scholars from the aforementioned states whose research issues deal with Berlin or Germany. Moreover, the young researchers shall use their stay in Berlin in order to make themselves familiar with the political and social system in Berlin and Germany, and build lasting relationships between themselves and with the Berlin House of Representatives. Thus, the Foundation seeks to awaken or strengthen long-term interest in and understanding of Germany in the aforementioned states.

  The European Research Council advanced grant programme “The healthy self as body capital: individuals, market-based societies and body politics in visual twentieth century Europe (BodyCapital)” led by Christian Bonah (université de Strasbourg) and Anja Laukötter (MPIHD, Berlin) on the understanding of body capital and its history, through the twentieth century history of visual mass media (film, TV, Internet) and inédits (amateur, family and private visuals) is now accepting applications for a post-doctoral researcher position for a project related to post-1945 Great Britain.

  Bourse sur la déhospitalisation psychiatrique au Québec et en Ontario

  Grâce au financement des Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada (IRSC, 2013-2016) et la Chaire de recherche sur la francophonie canadienne en santé, notre équipe de recherche entend participer à une lecture pancanadienne de l’histoire de la santé mentale au Canada en s’intéressant spécifiquement au contexte de désinstitutionnalisation et de déhospitalisation qui a marqué l’Ontario et le Québec dans la seconde moitié du XX^e siècle. Considérant qu’un Canadien sur neuf hospitalisés pour maladie mentale retournera à l’urgence moins d’un mois après sa sortie d’hôpital, il nous intéresse de documenter les itinéraires « transinstitutionnels » des personnes souffrant de troubles psychiques.

  Recrutement d'un doctorant pour une thèse sur l'histoire du cancer

  Bourse de la région Pays de la Loire d'une durée de trois années, encadrée par l'équipe du CERHIO (UMR 6258) de l'Université du Maine (Le Mans). La thèse portera sur l’histoire de la lutte contre le cancer au XX^e siècle et s’appuiera notamment sur les fonds d’archives des centre anticancéreux de Nantes et d’Angers. À une analyse à l’échelle régionale, elle est susceptible d’associer une étude à l’échelle nationale et / ou internationale des acteurs et des dispositifs de la lutte contre le cancer.
