  Bringing back the wonder of the wilderness to the city: perceptions, thoughts and life with nature in an urban environment

  With a one-day conference held in Perpignan in May 2017 and exclusively devoted to “Vegetal Life in its Urban Milieu,” this new international event builds further on previous research, seeking to extend the enterprise of re-enchanting the complex, often invisible relationships between humans and non-humans that germinate from specifically urban worldings.

  "Projected" nature. Appropriations, uses and representations of nature

  Cette journée d’étude interdisciplinaire interroge les enjeux de l’appropriation de la nature et de sa « projection » – matérielle (le projet urbain…) et symbolique (les représentations…) – dans un système de pensée propre aux acteurs mobilisant la notion même de « nature ». On cherchera à voir comment, à travers d’un côté des projets de développement territorial et politique, et de l’autre la production de savoirs et d’écritures sur la nature, cette dernière est appropriée et utilisée par différents groupes d’acteurs.
