Labels in the field of cultural and natural heritage

Created in the 60s, the label's use for cultural and natural heritage has increased dramatically for several years, specially in France. Inherited from the marketing and trade world, the use of labels for cultural and natural heritage illustrates the expansion of heritage's conception to new artefacts and new cultural properties, in an anthropological meaning. Some recent studies on the cultural and natural heritage labels insist on the economic benefits for development of territories. But the legal and institutional dimensions of labels in heritage have been ignored. The goal of the symposium is to define and precise the purposes and the caracteristics of labels in the field of heritage.

Management of architectural and urban settings in an age of sustainable development: practices, changes and challenges

Ramau conferences – 2014

Following the study days dedicated to “architectural and town planning professions faced with the involvement of residents and users” in 2012 and “sustainable town planning and architecture know-how and models” in 2013, the aim of the Ramau 2014 conferences is to concentrate on the relations between sustainability and “management” in the field of urban development and architecture. The incorporation of sustainable development in architectural, urban and landscaping operations seems to have the effect of increasing the concern for management logic in the project process.

The discourse of management, work and the economy: representation / fiction

Ce colloque regroupe littéraires, historiens, sociologues, gestionnaires, artistes et s'interroge sur les discours tenus depuis les années 1970 en France par les écrivains, les hommes d'affaires, la presse... au sujet du monde du travail et de l'économie néo-libérale. La première journée tournera « autour de l'entreprise », la deuxième cheminera « du côté des textes littéraires » et la troisième sera consacrée à « l'extension du domaine du discours et à l'omniprésence du discours managérial ».

Economic, employment and management discourse: representation/fiction

Ce colloque propose (aux historiens, littéraires, linguistes, gestionnaires, sociologues...) de réfléchir sur les discours économique, discours du travail et discours du management. Si la période chronologiques et l'espace géographique sont restreints (le monde francophone des années 1970 à nos jours) ; en revanche, on s'intéresse à toutes les formes de discours, tous les types d'auteurs, tous les supports de diffusion...

Il a pour objectif d’analyser les multiples stratégies internes (culture d’entreprise) et externes (produits, services et marchés) des entreprises nationales et étrangères face à la mondialisation.
