  Ciné-danse : art en mouvement

  Le séminaire Ciné-danse : art en mouvement se propose, au fil de ses quatre journées de séances thématiques, d'analyser l'art de la ciné-danse à partir de divers angles et de creuser son histoire riche et complexe. Premier séminaire francophone de cette envergure, l'événement souhaite proposer un point de rencontre entre les spécialistes de la discipline - ceux qui ont l'habitude de théoriser et d'analyser les chorégraphies pour l'écran - et les non-spécialistes qui enrichissent l'étude de la ciné-danse avec leurs connaissances en provenance de la sociologie, de la littérature, de la danse, du cinéma et d'autres disciplines (photographie, histoire, philosophie, etc.)

  "Forma", 14th issue, Comparative Studies in Art, Literature, and Thought Journal

  Revista d'Estudis Comparatius. Art, Literatura i Pensament's "Forma" numero 14

  FORMA privileges the dialogue between disciplines and critical traditions. The subject matter of the articles is open. All the texts, as specified in the System of Arbitration section, have to comply with the guidelines established by the entities in charge of indexing scientific journals, with regard to the plurality of the editorial and scientific committees as well as the selection process and revision of published texts. All articles will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

  Ce sont des temporalités disséminées, couplant la lecture et la navigation, qui constituent le milieu technologique dans lequel nous évoluons. Nous interagissons avec des bases de données qui accumulent et réorganisent un magma d'informations, de portions de texte, de son et d'images, qui peuvent nous concerner dans notre intimité, ou bien dans la perspective de notre inscription dans le collectif. Ces éléments fragmentaires sont à cet égard à portée de main, de regard, et peuvent être ré-activés à loisir. Si les artistes exploitent ce matériau déjà existant, en l'échantillonnant et en l’agençant pour former de nouvelles combinaisons signifiantes, ils inscrivent leur pratiques dans une tradition de l'appropriation héritée des avant-gardes du début du XX^e siècle.

  This call is opened and addressed to scholars, PhD students or any researcher who holds at least a BA degree. The deadline for submissions will be March 15, 2015. In each journal, the works published will be ushered by some articles written by well-known prestigious scholars, as well as an interview to an intellectually remarkable person and some reviews of books which might be of academic interest and were published the year before.
