Malgré un déclin mille fois annoncé, mais également mille fois reporté, dès lors sans cesse glosé en contexte global, la langue française n’en fait pas moins l’objet d’une réflexion qui va se systématisant et qui, à la faveur d’une (re)prise de conscience l’importance des Humanités, numériques notamment, la fait apparaître comme outil et véhicule ambigu, mal à l’aise, voire biaisé, si l’on considère son potentiel dans le domaine scientifique.

DARIAH Day

DARIAH Day is a one day workshop intended to introduce the Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (DARIAH) to the linguistic community in Zurich. The workshop will focus on the #dariahTeach platform, which was created through the funding of an ERASMUS+ strategic partnership to test modules for open-source, high-quality, multilingual teaching materials for the digital arts and humanities.

Launch of the #dariahTeach teaching platform for Digital Arts and Humanities

On 23 March 2017 the beta version of the platform #dariahTeach and the content will be released at 5.30pm. The launch ceremony will available via a live stream from the Lausanne campus (CH). #dariahTeach is an open source, extensible, online multilingual, community-driven platform for high quality teaching and training materials for the digital humanities specifically tailored for third-level education.

Heritage Culture and Digital Humanities: A Bond between the Old and the New

As a follow-up to the realizations from a previous scientific symposium on the “Old Book — Cultural-Historical and Scientific Source” (Osijek, October 25 and 26, 2013) and the second interdisciplinary scientific symposium with international participation titled “Literary Heritage Nowadays” (Osijek, November 6 and 7, 2015), by virtue of this conference the organizers would like to facilitate their in-depth analysis and upgrade while especially providing their contribution to a continued study of the opus of the Franciscan esthetician, philosophical-theological writer, Latinist, historian and translator Emerik (Mirko) Pavić (1716 – 1780), whose selected works were dispatched to be digitized within the aforementioned project, on the occasion of his 300^th birth anniversary.

Dans le cadre des Tech Days du pôle numérique, une journée sur les humanités numériques est organisée à l'atelier Canopé du Val-de-Marne. L'objectif de cette journée est d'avoir un temps d'échange sur les conséquences des bouleversements du numérique dans la production, lʼorganisation et la diffusion des savoirs, dans une approche interdisciplinaire et en s'appuyant sur les fondements humanistes du projet scolaire.

Information Literacy Training in the age of web 2.0 and discovery tools

Web 2.0, information dans le cloud, discovery tools, learning centers, bibliothèque sans livres, library as a service ... Le monde de l’information se transforme en profondeur au rythme des avancées technologiques mais aussi des évolutions dans la façon de produire, diffuser, collecter, traiter l’information. La formation aux compétences informationnelles s’adapte-t-elle au(x) même(s) rythme(s) ? De longue date, la formation à la maîtrise informationnelle (recherche, sélection, critique...) (pré-)occupe enseignants et bibliothécaires. En Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (Belgique francophone), une enquête sur les compétences documentaires des étudiants commençant des études supérieures a été menée en 2007. Outre un état de la question et une mise en perspective, le colloque du 18 mai 2015 a pour ambition de produire des recommandations et des pistes concrètes.
