110 years of Chinese cinema

L’année 2015 marque le 110ème anniversaire de la naissance du cinéma chinois, le 120^e anniversaire de la naissance du cinéma français et du cinéma mondial. Le festival du cinéma chinois de Paris organise en collaboration avec Inalco et le CNC, un forum sur l’histoire du cinéma chinois, avec la participation des spécialistes Chinois, Français et Italiens.

Comics and sport

During the final talks of the fruitful international conference named “body languages in comics” set up by the junior drawn sciences laboratory of the Ecole normale supérieure (ENS) in Lyon on 8th and 9th October 2014, the idea to carry on, in a more precise way, the numerous debates on the occasion of a later scientific event was mentioned. In light of this, the C3S laboratory (“culture, sport, health and society”) of the University of Bourgogne/Franche-Comté organises holding an international symposium in order to study how sport is depicted in comics. Researchers in the C3S laboratory dedicate their work to sport sciences with a theoretical and epistemological commitment marked by interdisciplinarity. According to this stance, the international conference is open to various contributions allowing to understand the representations (whether they be historical, sociological, anthropological, literary, semiotic, psychological…etc…) of sport in comics.

Des ruelles du Caire aux autoroutes de l'information

Présentation du projet international de numérisation des fragments de la Guenizah du Caire

Le Professeur Stefan Reif (Cambridge), spécialiste des manuscrits orientaux, et le professeur Yaacov Choueka (Jérusalem) présenteront pour la première fois en France le Friedberg Genizah Project, qui consiste à numériser des milliers de manuscrits (en hébreu, arabe, araméen, yiddish...) découverts dans la Guenizah du Caire en1898 et éparpillés depuis dans le monde, pour en proposer la lecture gratuite sur le site www.genizah.org. Un évènement organisé par la bibliothèque de l'Alliance israélite universelle.
