  Terra Foundation Collection Research Fellowship in American Art at the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza

  This two-year fellowship in Madrid, administered by the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, is devoted to original research on nineteenth-century American paintings in the museum's permanent collection. The fellow’s research will contribute to a new display of the American collection, a scholarly publication, and an international symposium.

  Prémio Eduardo Lourenço

  Encontram-se abertas as candidaturas à 8ª edição do Prémio Eduardo Lourenço, galardão instituído pelo Centro de Estudos Ibéricos destinado a premiar personalidades ou instituições com intervenção relevante no âmbito da cooperação e da cultura ibérica. O Prémio, no montante de 10.000,00€ (dez mil euros), será atribuído por um júri constituído pelos membros da Direcção do Centro de Estudos Ibéricos (Reitor da Universidade de Coimbra, Reitor da Universidade de Salamanca e Presidente da Câmara Municipal da Guarda) e por mais oito personalidades sendo, no presente ano, presidido pelo Reitor da Universidade de Salamanca.

  First Award Competition of Bajo Palabra Journal of Philosophy for Young Researchers

  On the occasion of its 1st International Conference, the Bajo Palabra Philosophy Association, announces the “1st Award Competition of Bajo Palabra Journal of Philosophy for Young Researchers”. This competition is open to any researcher under 35 years old, who are registered in the Conference and who have submitted an unpublished work to one of the proposed branches. Several prizes will be awarded. Works will be selected by an international jury, based on their originality, academic rigor and accuracy. Each of the winners will receive a certificate from the Autonomous University of Madrid, the outstanding publication of the paper in a journal issue and the return of the registration fees.
