Teaching and learning of classical languages
Monographic issue : "Forma y Funcion"
With the aim of encouraging the exchange of ideas, experiences, progress and proposals, the Journal Forma y Funcion invites classicists to submit full research articles dealing with the teaching and learning of classical languages. We believe that the widespread circulation of information and research findings in this area will contribute towards enriching and modernizing pedagogical processes and dynamics at a time when the use of new technologies and the search for effective and motivating strategies in humanist education is both urgent and necessary.

XVIII International Symposium on Civilizing Processes
The National University of Colombia and the Department of Citizen Culture of the Secretary of Culture, Recreation and Sport of Bogota, Colombia have joined forces to organize the upcoming XVIII International Symposium on Civilizing Processes (SIPC). The SIPCs were born in 1996 on a Brazilian initiative and have been held every two years in Latin America to encourage the exchange of ideas and research results among scientists from various disciplines who find in Norbert Elias’ work a source of guidance in facing the challenges of today’s world and who share an interest in social sciences adjusted to reality.

Music, Tradition and Creativity in the Digital Era
New Ethnomusicological Perspectives From the Global South
This Symposium will explore how digital media and new technologies have affected the ways through which musicians, producers and researchers experiment and engage with "traditional" musical forms, in Colombia and in other parts of the world. The participants are invited to share their research results and methodological experimentations in the field of applied ethnomusicology, music pedagogy, performance, digital audio production or digital humanities about the study of the impact of digital technologies about current musical practices. This Symposium will also include the presence of several local musicians and producers who will conduct workshops on "traditional" Colombian music and music from other countries of the global South.

The “Landscapes” edition of dearq academic journal invites participants to reflect on what has globally been, principally since the beginning of the twentieth century, the evolution of the concept of landscape; the relevant methods of analysis; the methods of representation, of evaluation, and of teaching. This takes into consideration how the concept is a practical project tool that can be used for land-use planning, what landscape’s level of influence has been on the public policy decision-making process, what instruments and regulations have been used, and also how “landscape” and “territory” coexist.

La revue Territorios convoque des chercheurs nationaux et internationaux pour la réalisation d'un numéro thématique sur le thème « Villes et conflits en Amérique latine : hier, aujourd'hui et demain ». La revue accepte des articles présentant des réflexions générales ou des études de cas relatives à des villes latino-américaines et construites depuis les différentes disciplines des sciences sociales.

Journée des jeunes américanistes 2015
Les conflits interrogent et mettent en débat les manières de faire et de vivre en ville. Ils offrent une entrée pour l’analyse des logiques d’action des acteurs et permettent d’explorer les rapports de pouvoir, les représentations sociales, les dimensions politiques de l’urbain. Les revendications des groupes sociaux et les dispositifs de gouvernances – telles la participation et la démocratie - sont particulièrement bien mis en relief par l’analyse des conflits. Les approches diachroniques révèlent les objets et les enjeux majeurs des luttes et mettent en évidence les processus et les ruptures qui caractérisent les dynamiques urbaines. Interroger les conflits contemporains (mobilisations globales, mouvement des places, usage des réseaux sociaux…) depuis les Amériques apporterait aussi des éclairages sur les dynamiques contemporaines de la région.

L'Institut français d'études Andines (UMIFRE 17, CNRS-MAE) propose plusieurs bourses d'aides à la mobilité d'une durée variable allant de trois à neufs mois. Aides au terrain destinées aux étudiants de Master 2 recherche et aux doctorants inscrits en thèse dans l'une des disciplines relevant des sciences humaines et sociales ou des sciences de la vie, ces bourses seront réparties sur une période allant du 1er septembre 2013 au 31 août 2014. -

Les multiples pratiques touristiques recouvrent un nombre limité d’usages du temps libre : ceux liés au repos - et de manière plus générale à la reconstitution du corps et de l’esprit -, ceux liés au jeu et à ses multiples facettes (du sport aux jeux de hasard), ceux liés à la sociabilité et enfin ceux liés à la découverte d’un environnement peu familier. Ces usages différents se traduisent dans des logiques spécifiques de façonnement des territoires touristiques.
