Colloquium on
THE CHANGING FACE OF MONTAIGNE
You are invited to attend an international colloquium to be held in
September 2000 in Exeter on The Changing Face of Montaigne. At the turn of
the century, we should like to highlight the new facets of Montaigne -
interpretation, style, editorial questions, philosophical position,
historical context, etc. - which are emerging from recent research. This
colloquium will provide an admirable opportunity for those interested in
Montaigne to meet and discuss informally in the relaxed environment of the
Exeter campus.
Laura Willett of the University of Toronto and Keith Cameron, University of
Exeter, will be hosting the event.
The cost, with en-suite accommodation in the new Postgraduate Centre,
centrally situated on the University campus, for full board, Conference fee
and a copy of the Proceedings is 150 pounds sterling (130 pounds for
standard accommodation) - 100 pounds for non-residents.
Special rates are available for postgraduates.
