L'Academy of European History (4e édition), organisée par l'Institut Universitaire Européen (Florence, Italie) se tiendra du 30 juin ou 8 juillet à Florence. Le thème retenu cette année portera sur les "mouvements de population dans l'histoire européenne". Les professeurs d'histoire de collège et lycée ainsi que les journalistes peuvent postuler ; si leurs dossiers sont retenus, ils seront invités aux frais de l'IUE à participer. The fourth session of the Academy of European History, sponsored by the Department of History and Civilization of the European University Institute,  will be held this summer from 30 June to 8 July in Florence (Villa Schifanoia, Cappella).

As you may know, the Academy invites professors of History at the pre-university level, and journalists at the beginning stages of their careers to participate in its proceedings. Each session of the Academy is focused on one theme. The theme chosen for this year is Population Movements in Europe’s History. With this initiative, we aspire to create a forum in which new ideas about Europe's past can be discussed by professionals responsible for reaching wide, non scholarly audiences (secondary school students and readers of the press).
