Following the previous four editions of the "International Conference on Environment and Identities in the Mediterranean" that were held every two years since 2000, in Corsica, the fifth edition of this international meeting is co-organised by IEEE and the University of Corsica. It becomes the

First International Symposium on Environment Identities and Mediterranean Area

A special session is planned for "Sustainable Development".

The following list of subjects is given as a guide line for submission of paper:

• Waste Management

• Tourism

• Social and Solidarity Economy

Note that, for W4-Sustainable Development only, the full paper is limited to 12 pages, but the author must provide a summarized paper of 6 pages for the CD publication before May, 10 2006.
