• Critical evaluation of the CSR concept and tools.  These contributions can be either theoretical and/or empirical and can adopt one (or several) of the following perspectives: an historical perspective mapping the evolutions of the CSR concept, its progressive fragmentation and the plurality of its meanings in our contemporary societies; a perspective focused on practices and tools, with contributions investigating critically CSR tools such as code of conduct, Socially Responsible Investment practices and metrics, CSR reporting or CSR rating; a theoretical perspective highlighting and deconstructing the ideological premises of contemporary CSR frameworks such as the stakeholder theory and contractualist view of the business-society interface or building on new-institutionalism to investigate the rational myths structuring the contemporary discourses on CSR.
• Critical Studies from Management and Organization Theory applied to the CSR field of research and practice.  These contributions, in line with the perspective of Critical Management Studies may investigate critically the emergence of the CSR ideology and assess critically the underlying hypotheses of CSR research and practice. We welcome contributions relying on theories and streams of research such as postmodernism, Foucaldian studies, Habermasian approach to communication. 
• Research attempting to develop new concepts of CSR better aligned with the expectations of critical studies, to move CSR research forward in addressing past critics, or to map the various critical perspectives on CSR.
