Les années 1944 à 1946 sont celles de la libération de l’Europe, entendue à la fois comme l’évacuation des territoires occupés par les forces du Troisième Reich et la fin de la guerre, exception faite, bien entendu, du sort de l’Allemagne. Elles ouvrent également une ère nouvelle, dont les caractères distinctifs sont la recherche de nouveaux équilibres politiques et sociaux et la mise en place de l’ordre stalinien en Europe de l’Est. En septembre 2009, un premier workshop à Berlin a permis de tester certaines hypothèses. Le workshop de Barcelone organisé en partenariat avec la Casa de Velazquez, entend poursuivre ces premiers travaux entrepris dans le cadre du programme ANR-OME.
