Salary:   From £32,148 - £38,887 per annum inclusive

Both appointments will be fixed term for one year

The Department of Sociology is seeking two full time LSE Fellows to give lectures and conduct seminar teaching for its existing courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

You will be required to cover teaching and to provide further academic support throughout the department.

You should have a developing record of teaching and research in the full range of contemporary sociology including areas such as classical, modern and contemporary social thought, class, power and inequality; race, ethnicity and multi-culturalism; nation states, war and conflict; risk governance; markets and work; urban sociology; human rights; gender; science and technology; and methods.

The two posts will commence from 1st October 2012.
