Appel à candidature IEA de Paris /Année universitaire 2014-2015

L'Institut d'études avancées de Paris vous invite à soumettre vos candidatures pour des résidences de cinq ou neuf mois, les demandes de séjours longs (9 mois) étant privilégiées. L'IEA de Paris envisage de recruter une vingtaine de résidents afin de leur permettre d’approfondir des projets de recherche de leur choix.

Date limite de dépôt des dossiers : 20 janvier 2013.

Sont éligibles :

• Les chercheurs internationaux de haut niveau en sciences humaines et sociales
• Les chercheurs postdoctoraux occupant un poste universitaire ou de recherche (au minimum un doctorat obtenu depuis plus de 3 ans + 3 années d'expérience dans la recherche à temps plein).

Les candidats peuvent postuler pour des séjours se déroulant dans les périodes suivantes :

• 1er septembre 2014 au 31 janvier 2015 ou
• 1er octobre 2014 au 30 juin 2015 (les demandes de séjours de neuf mois étant privilégiées) ou
• 1er février au 30 juin 2015.

Le dossier, rédigé en anglais ou en français, est déposé via le système de candidature en ligne. Les dossiers papiers ne sont pas acceptés.

Le dossier de candidature en ligne est constitué des pièces suivantes :

• le formulaire de candidature rempli en ligne
• votre CV accompagné d'une liste de vos publications (20 pages au maximum)
• votre projet de recherche (entre 5 et 10 feuillets / 1000 à 2000 mots) incluant :
• une bibliographie sélective portant sur la problématique proposée
• un état des collaborations existantes ou envisagées avec des institutions ou des chercheurs en France chacun
• les résumés du projet, rédigés en anglais et en français, ne doivent pas excéder 1500 signes / 200 mots (titres inclus).

Call for applications Paris IAS / Academic year 2014-2015     
 
The Paris Institute for Advanced Study welcomes applications worldwide from established scholars in the fields of the humanities and social sciences for five- or nine-month residencies. Longer stays (i.e. nine months) will be given priority. Paris IAS is planning to host about twenty international guest researchers for 2014- 2015 to work on projects of their choice.

Deadline for applications: 20 January 2013.

Eligible applicants:

• High-level senior researchers in the humanities and social sciences
• •    Postdoctoral researchers that hold a position in a university or research centre (having held a doctorate for at least three years, plus a minimum three years of full-time research experience)

Applicants may request residencies for the following periods:

• • 1 September 2014 to 31 January 2015 or
• • 1 October 2014 to 30 June 2015 (requests for 9-month residencies will be given priority) or
• • 1 February to 30 June 2015

The application, in English or French, is submitted via an online application system. Paper applications are not accepted.

The online application is comprised of the following:

• Completed application form (to fill in online)
• Curriculum vitae and list of publications (20 pages maximum)
• Information on your research project (between 5 and 10 pages / 1,000 to 2,000 words), including:
• A selected bibliography on the topic
• A statement on current or potential partnerships with institutions or researchers based in France
• The summaries of the project, in English and in French, must not exceed 1,500 signs / 200 words each (titles included)
