Zusammenfassung

O V Congresso da Associação Portuguesa de Antropologia acolhe uma mostra de filme etnográfico em sessões que terão lugar no Pequeno Auditório do Teatro Municipal de Vila Real nos dias 8, 9, 10 e 11 de Setembro.
O tema, Antropologia em Contraponto, reconhece a polifonia do projecto antropológico. Isto é, reconhece que a antropologia é plural e feita nas diversidades das formas de conhecer, de quem conhece e de quem é conhecido. Falamos também de variedades dos modos de ver e de ser visto e celebramos, uma vez mais, as formas de (re)conhecer através das imagens.
Aceitamos filmes, realizados entre 2011 e 2013, com potencial etnográfico, que nos mostrem a diversidade do mundo e das formas de o conhecer. Para estimular o debate, a mostra dá preferência (não absoluta) a filmes que serão apresentados pelos seus realizadores.

The (non-competitive) festival’s theme, ‘Anthropology in Counterpoint’ focuses on films which demonstrate the polyphony and multiplicity of points-of-view that characterizes the anthropological project. Anthropology is a pluralistic undertaking, comprising a variety of modes of knowing and systems of knowledge. We are interested in showcasing the different ways of seeing and being seen, and the differing ways by which images “know” and “make known”. The festival accepts films produced not before 2011 and which, from an ethnographic standpoint, testify the world’s diversity and the diversity of mode of “knowing”. In order to stimulate discussion, preference (not absolute) will be given to the films that will be presented by the filmmakers.
