Summary
The journal Antropológicas is accepting proposals for publication in its next issue that will address the problem of ethnographic and anthropological methodology. Manuscripts should be submitted to the page http://revistas.rcaap.pt/antropologicas/login by the 28th of February of 2013. Antropológicas’ number 13th will address the problem of ethnographic and anthropological methodology, because since the academic statement of its field of knowledge, ethnographic practice and anthropological writing had many debates, both for the originality of the methodology and the scientific accuracy required by their professionals. Among social sciences, anthropology was the one where theoretical discussion about its rationale demanded a greater critical capacity, by placing into question its methodological grounds.

The journal Antropológicas is accepting proposals for publication in its next issue that will address the problem of ethnographic and anthropological methodology.
Antropológicas (ISSN 0873-819X & eISSN 2182-2913) is a scientific journal of University Fernando Pessoa that has in the area of anthropology and other social sciences its own space but defends the interdisciplinary debate.
The journal is indexed, the articles are subject to peer review and the original texts can be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French.
In 2011, Antropológicas was selected to be part of the Hosting Service of Institutional Scientific Journals (SARC) of the Portuguese Open Access Scientific Repository (RCAAP) and its number 12 was the first to be published only in digital format, in this open access platform (http://revistas.rcaap.pt/antropologicas), having an updated design reminiscent of the journal’s first copies.
Antropológicas’ number 13th will address the problem of ethnographic and anthropological methodology, because since the academic statement of its field of knowledge, ethnographic practice and anthropological writing had many debates, both for the originality of the methodology and the scientific accuracy required by their professionals.
Among social sciences, anthropology was the one where theoretical discussion about its rationale demanded a greater critical capacity, by placing into question its methodological grounds.
These grounds are particularly discussed in postmodernity debates and are subject to the continuous scrutiny of the researchers in seeking a renewal of its originality, while intend to ensure the validity of Anthropology’s scientific project.
In this context and in order to contribute to this debate, we expect to receive your publish proposal.
