One position for an MA studentship and Research assistantship in Medieval Literatures (Old French in general or Hebrew literature produced in northern France, 12th-16th centuries).

Presentation
The department of French Culture at Bar Ilan Universityis happy to announce a research project in the domain of Medieval French Studies or Medieval Hebrew literature from northern France(12th-16th centuries). The holder of the studentship will carry out her/his independent research project under the supervision of Dr Tovi Bibring, and will simultaneously serve as a research assistant in a small, dynamic medieval research group.
The student is expected to carry out her/his research in Israel, at the Department of French Culture at Bar-Ilan University.
The project will finance a monthly salary of up to 3000 NIS pending on hours worked (it is expected, that the salary should be sufficient to cover tuition and basic maintenance).
The project’s leaders will do their best to assist the elected candidate in finding a matching scholarship.
Duration: 2 years, 1st of October 2013 to 30th of September 2015.

Required qualifications
- BA degree obtained by September 2013
- Strong research orientation is expected, knowledge of medieval Hebrew is an advantage.
