Notes:

* To participate in the group sessions, the students should select, upon their registration in the Summer School, which group they would like to participate in. All those interested should, furthermore, fill out the relevant fields of the form with questions they would like to see debated in the session, briefly describing their research projects and the questions it raises.

This is your chance to discuss face-to-face with world-renowned figures of popular music and DIY cultures, in a focused environment which will give you all the tools to make the most of your research. From bachelor students still taking their first steps, to advanced candidates in the final line to their PhD, the KISMIF Summer School will take you deep into the problematics of your research.

Registration process

  •  To participate in Summer School, all the interested people must access the virtual platform (available here www.kismifconference.com) and, on the abstracts area, fill the form with the following information:
  •  choice of ‘Thesis Breakout Group’ in which you would like to participate;
  •  a short description (written in English and with approximately 250 words) of the questions you would like to see debated in the ‘Thesis Breakout Group’.
  •  a short CV (with a maximum of 500 words).
  •  Then, all the completed forms must be submitted to a review process which will evaluate the scientific excellence of the proposals.
  •  All the persons who saw their proposals positively evaluated must then pay the fees until 19th April 2016 and send us a longer description of the questions you would like to see debated in Summer School. Only this way, participants will assure their participation in Summer School.

 # After Summer School, all participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
