This event should allow the meeting of researchers: mainly geologists, mineralogists, archaeologists, historians, in order to cross the different point of views on both ancient and recent archaeological discoveries at first, to develop a multidisciplinary, diachronic and international research program in a  second time. Various speakers will address their issues related to the study of this mining district.

Argument

The scientific study days on Warndt mining heritage are organized under the auspices of the University of Lorraine (Georesources laboratories, CERGAPE-LOTERR and HISCANT MA; National associations: ERMINA (Interdisciplinary Team for Studies and Archaeological Researches on ancient Mines and Industrial Heritage), CPEPESC (National Commission for Protection of Water, Heritage, Environment, Subsoil and Bats)

This event should allow the meeting of researchers: mainly geologists, mineralogists, archaeologists, historians, in order to cross the different point of views on both ancient and recent archaeological discoveries at first, to develop a multidisciplinary, diachronic and international research program in a  second time. Various speakers will address their issues related to the study of this mining district.

Thus, it is in a transdisciplinary spirit that the village of Falck will host specialists and public to share this meeting which will take place on 24, 25 and 26 June 2016.

The official languages of the conference are English, French ad German
