The next 8th, 9th and 10th of April it will take place at the University of Santiago de Compostela the international conference "The Epoch of Space. State and New Perspectives", where researchers from around the world will meet to discuss the spatial turn of humanities. This interdisciplinary event will bring together geographers, philologists, historians, philosophers, and other interested disciplines to review the current state of spatial humanities, share different approaches, research methods and discuss their future.

Presentation

The next 8th, 9th and 10th of April it will take place at the University of Santiago de Compostela the international conference "The Epoch of Space. State and New Perspectives", where researchers from around the world will meet to discuss the spatial turn of humanities. This interdisciplinary event will bring together geographers, philologists, historians, philosophers, and other interested disciplines to review the current state of spatial humanities, share different approaches, research methods and discuss their future.

This will include the presence of internationally renowned authors such as Robert Tally (Texas State University), Alessandro Scafi (The Warburg Institute), Federico L. Silvestre (USC), Marilar Aleixandre (USC) or Joan Nogué (University of Girona) ) that will give a series of lectures, thus putting the icing on a large program of communications, talks, round tables and debates that you can see on the conference website: https://www.aepocadoespazo.info.

There is also information on attendance and registration available. The deadline to register as an assistant is open until 31st of March and the taxes are €10, although there are discounts for certain doctoral programs.
