La représentation des relations amoureuses dans les fictions sud-est-asiatiques

L’Asie est un large continent, parfois, à tort, abordé par les non spécialistes comme un bloc homogène. Pourtant, un observateur attentif remarquera, par exemple en portant son regard sur la région sud-est asiatique, au carrefour des Asies du Sud et de l’Est, que les modèles culturels, et notamment concernant les questions de genre et de sexualité, sont davantage diversifiés qu’homogènes. Cette journée d’étude s’intéressera à la manière dont les fictions (cinéma, séries télévisées, littérature, théâtre, poésie, bande dessinée…) abordent la question des relations amoureuses en Asie du Sud-Est, qu’il s’agisse d’études comparatives ou portant sur un seul pays.

Autorités coutumières, religions missionnaires et laïcité de l’État au Cameroun

La récente controverse entre quelques autorités traditionnelles et le clergé catholique dans la région de l’ouest du Cameroun offre l’opportunité d’approfondir la réflexion sur les relations entre les religions missionnaires (comme le christianisme et l’slam), les institutions coutumières et l’État au Cameroun en général. Comment concilier l’ordre coutumier des chefferies traditionnelles, qui revendiquent ici et là une certaine primauté par rapport aux religions venus d’ailleurs, avec l’ordre républicain marqué par la laïcité de l’État en situation de pluralisme religieux ? L’objectif de l’ouvrage est d’examiner à nouveaux frais les relations complexes entre les institutions traditionnelles et les autres religions au Cameroun afin d’aménager un espace de dialogue intellectuel voire interreligieux susceptible d’aider à prévenir des dérives extrémistes de tout bord.

Cette persistance impose aux chercheurs de réinterroger, d’approfondir les études sur les genres de discours, de confronter les démarches d’analyse proposées dans différents domaines disciplinaires pour nourrir, relancer la réflexion sur les genres de discours et justifier le recours à cette notion théorique.

Xe séminaire d’émersiologie

Produits en 1^ère personne, les dessins révèlent la perception consciente que le corps vécu se forge de l’activité du corps vivant. Cette activité du vivant tacite et souterraine s’exprime sous la forme de sensations internes et d’émotions (Valente 2912). Elle porte les traces des expériences passées, des blessures et des traumas. À travers ces dessins (Durer, Olère, Artaud), les émersions involontaires de ces activités internes, sensibles et intimes prennent forme, couleurs, lignes et silhouettes. Cette production traduit alors la perception d’une manière inédite et devient l’opportunité d’une (re)découverte son propre corps.

Primary Sources and Archival Collections in Post-Unitarian Italy

The workshop will focus on primary sources and archival collections in post-unitarian Italy, which serve as a fundamental tool for provenance research. Research projects dealing with the Italian post-unitary period up to the recent years still face the significant challenge of not only having to locate archival sources, but also of finding a way to access and consult them. The workshop aims to put this issue up for discussion and wishes to promote an open dialogue between international scholars and representatives of research institutions. The focus lies not only on traditional art historical sources such as specified libraries, photographic collections, private estates or institutional archives. It is also intended to include historical and political archives. The aim is to connect various sources and methods of archival work related to the field of provenance research and to identify potential improvements in the provision and the use of archival material (including digital data) in Italy and abroad.

Le séminaire des doctorant·es du Centre d’études et de recherches comparatistes (CERC, ED 120, Sorbonne Nouvelle), pour l’année 2024/2025, porte sur « Genre(s) et frontière(s) », dans leurs différentes acceptions et polysémies. Il s’agit de se demander en quoi penser au-delà des frontières géographiques, historiques et culturelles permet d’élaborer une réflexion décentrée sur le(s) genre(s) en littérature. Le séminaire propose de mettre en évidence la porosité naturelle qui existe entre les formes littéraires à partir des notions de frontière et genre. L’ouverture géographique et culturelle est fondamentale afin d’interroger les relations entre les deux termes. La comparaison avec d’autres formes d’arts et médias est également bienvenue.

Translation and Translators in the Colonial Context

Roles, Functions and Narratives

The chronological reading of colonial contexts allows us to identify the “organic” link between translation and the colonial project, before, during and after the military occupation. Translation has acquired several functions; highlighting the role of the translator between the narratives of the colonizer and that of the colonized. Until 2000, seventy percent of the world's population had a “colonial” past, either as a colonizer or as a colonized. (Etemad, 258), which suggests that more than seventy percent of the world's population have been affected, and perhaps still are, through the prism of translation. The Conference will attempt to understand how translation was put at the service of the colonial project? What translation approaches have been adopted by translators and interpreters? How did translational discourse influence the cultures of the occupier and the occupied?
