Ecritures et formes du décentrement de l’hispanophonie globale
Dans ce séminaire doctoral en ligne, nous souhaitons ébaucher une épistémologie du décentrement en nous intéressant aux pratiques artistiques, littéraires et de médiation qui déplacent les centres, se déplacent par rapport à ces mêmes centres, en recréent de nouveaux, ou introduisent des décalages, déports et brouillages par rapport à différents types de centralités : esthétiques, politiques, sociales, académiques et médiatiques.

Consolatio. Formes et enjeux de la consolation de l'Antiquité au 21e siècle
Aujourd’hui, la mission de consoler les personnes en souffrance est majoritairement dévolue à des professionnels du soin, des associations, quelquefois à la religion, le plus souvent aux exercices de développement personnel, dont certains se prétendent fondés sur l’enseignement des philosophes antiques. De fait, Grecs et Romains faisaient volontiers appel aux méthodes des orateurs et aux arguments des philosophes pour modérer le chagrin suscité par les événements malheureux (décès, maladie, vieillesse, exil, injustice, etc.).

By choosing to focus on South-North circulations, this seminar is dedicated to the deconstruction of the “British Empire” as a homogeneous category to write and think about the intellectual, artistic, and political histories of the people who circulate and inhabit this polity known as the Commonwealth of Nations in the post-Bandung era. Working from the assumption that committed artists, intellectuals and political activists from the Global South have networked and connected within this space, we seek to interrogate the counter-hegemonic nature of the knowledge, theories and artistic practices produced during the post-Bandung era.

Philosophy and the National Question
Taking as its starting point the idea of “philosophical nationalism” proposed by Jacques Derrida, this seminar aims to question the way in which different national and nationalist discourses have accompanied both the construction of modern philosophical historiography and the development of comparative or intercultural philosophy. The division of the world into “philosophical nations” still constitutes today the starting point of any comparative effort and leads to making the “dialogue between traditions” a discourse tending to legitimize national ideologies.

Seuils in(ter)disciplinaires : une exploration méthodologique de l’indisciplinarité
Le collectif propose de questionner les enjeux de seuils entre disciplines à travers un cycle de quatre séminaires. La notion de seuil prend ici la forme d’expérimentations entre disciplines, au sens d’une indisciplinarité qui explore l’hybridité, les croisements, les entre-deux. Comment une discipline autre que la sienne permet-elle de réinvestir sa pratique et sa recherche ? Être « sur le seuil » devient une méthode de recherche et de création qui, dans une période de crise sociale, économique et politique, nous permet de penser dans l’altérité. La plus-value de ce cycle de séminaires tient dans son hybridation transdisciplinaire entre recherche et création, mêlant conférences et ateliers artistiques avec des intervenant·es chercheur·es/artistes.

Studies on informal housing are often fragmented, limiting the overall understanding of the issue. Beyond housing precariousness, informal housing encompasses a complexity of aspects influenced by various economic, social, and political factors, with a perspective often focused on Southern countries. A multidisciplinary approach is necessary to fully grasp these dynamics and formulate inclusive urban policies adapted to all societies.

Conflictualité chileno-mapuche entre deux siècles
Desde una perspectiva de largo plazo, las relaciones entre el pueblo mapuche y la sociedad chilena evidencian frecuentemente tintes de conflictividad. Ya sea desde un punto de vista político, territorial o económico, a menudo estallan crisis que tensionan, cuando no oponen, a ambas identidades tanto discursiva como factualmente. Este seminario recorre dos de esos momentos críticos: por un lado la Guerra de Pacificación (1862-1883), que consagra la anexión del país mapuche por parte del Estado chileno, y por otro, la emergencia del discurso plurinacional durante el presente año 2022 que desemboca en el rechazo de la llamada constitución indigenista.

“Phusis kai phuta”. Nature and plants in Ancient Greece
Phusis kai phuta is a research network that aims to gather and share ongoing research on nature (phusis) and plants (phuta) in ancient Greece. We are currently running our fourth online seminar series. We are particularly interested in three sets of interrelated topics. (1) Vegetal poetics: when and to which ends were plants mentionend in Greek poetical, philosophical and medical texts? (2) Botanical analogies: what models did plants offer to ancient Greek authors for speculating about cosmogony and cosmology, politics and society, psychology and ethics, the body and kinship? (3) The history of phusis: what concepts did this term cover exactly and how are we to grasp them without ironing out their differences from our concept(s) of nature?

Nous discutons de recherches en cours adoptant une dimension transnationale et des enjeux historiographiques et méthodologiques posés par cette perspective. Le séminaire vise à contribuer aux discussions entre historiennes et historiens contemporanéistes des deux côtés du Rhin. Selon les séances et les langues des présentations, le séminaire a lieu en allemand, anglais et/ou français.

This seminar aims to be a broad forum for discussion and debate of UNIVERSities ina glocal perspective, thus opening up to the discussion of the interconnections between thevarious educational institutions in Europe; their role in the construction of identities and in thereflection around the other(s); the importance they assumed as the cradle of cultural currentsand intellectual movements, imposing themselves as vehicles for the creation anddissemination of culture; and the position they took as foci of radiation of knowledge indifferent latitudes of the old and the New World. It is not an unknown topic in historiography but it still requires study, which leads us toencourage the participation of international researchers who can come up with connected andcomparative history approaches.

Le workshop international « La fortuna dell’ Historia Turpini in Europa: status quaestionis e prospettive di ricerca », fait partie d’un projet de recherche sur la Chronique du Pseudo-Turpin developpé à l'Université de Turin ; son but est d’offrir aux spécialistes l’occasion de présenter leur recherches et de créer des synergies en vue de projets futurs. Le workshop sera articulé en deux parties : une section consacrée aux communications des relateurs et ouverte à la participation de chercheurs, étudiants, etc., et en une table ronde réservée aux rélateurs et discussants, finalisée à partager les expertises et envisager de nouvelles perspectives de recherche.
