La critique fondamentale de la religion, opérée notamment par les maîtres du soupçon, a influencé durablement les sciences humaines et sociales, si bien que le religieux et la religion n’ont généralement pas bonne presse. Or, depuis quelques années, la virulence de cette réaction « anti-théologique » semble s’atténuer, comme si on assistait à un certain renouvellement du rapport à la religion et au religieux.
