L’essor des intelligences artificielles génératives accessibles au grand public transforme les subjectivités, et leur rapport au réel et à l’altérité. En simulant une forme d’intersubjectivité, elles brouillent les frontières entre discours, production et représentation du monde. Sources de vérité, d’affects et d’images, elles réorganisent les liens sociaux et les pratiques créatives, tout en intensifiant des dynamiques déjà à l’œuvre dans le capitalisme numérique : aliénation, passivité, perte de sens. L’altérité se voit dissoute ou, inversement, parfois durcie. Ce dossier interroge la nouveauté et la portée de ces mutations : assiste-t-on à une crise du réel ou à une reconfiguration d’évolutions plus anciennes ? Les sciences sociales sont appelées à éclairer ces transformations, sans les surestimer, en mobilisant une approche interdisciplinaire et critique.

At first glance, the concept of “anonymity” may seem simple: any actor who acts without revealing their identity is acting anonymously. However, this superficial simplicity hides considerable technological, social, and political complexity. What conditions make anonymity necessary for expression, cooperation, and judgment? The cultural, ethical, and narrative dimensions of “anonymity” in contemporary digital environments affect both administrative and creative life. With a perspective that combines the techniques of law with those of sociology, politicalscience, cultural studies, and narratology, this project seeks to uncover the cultural transformations that underpin “anonymity’ in practice, through its new or emerging instruments and narrative features.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer le programme de deux Journées d’études « Simone Weil : éduquer par la philosophie. Le cours du Puy (1931/32) : enjeux philosophiques, enjeux éducatifs pour aujourd’hui », les vendredi 23 mai à Lyon (Univ. catholique de Lyon - Carnot) et samedi 24 mai matin au Puy-en-Velay (site UCLy du Puy). Cette initiative, organisée par l’UR « Confluence : Sciences et Humanités » (EA 1598), s’interroge sur la pratique philosophique dans sa dimension éducative chez Simone Weil, à partir du tout premier cours donné au Puy-en-Velay en 1931/32 (dont l’édition récente a été publiée chez l’éclat) et, plus largement, sur les défis contemporains de l’enseignement de la philosophie, dans et hors de l’institution scolaire.

Cirque contemporain et engagement
Colloque international
Alors que les études sur le cirque contemporain se constituent dans le milieu universitaire, ce colloque international vise à interroger les théories et les pratiques de l’engagement sous toutes ses formes dans ce champ artistique. Il s’inscrit dans un cycle de recherche organisé à l’Université Bordeaux Montaigne en 2022-2023 et fait suite à une série de journées d’études : « Formes et esthétique de l’engagement dans le cirque contemporain », « Les espaces du cirque engagé : enjeux de légitimités », « Un cirque au(x) féminin(s) ? Repenser et réinventer les genres ». Nous poursuivons l’exploration de ces questions en croisant les contributions de chercheur·euse·s et de professionnel·le·s du spectacle, et en ouvrant les discussions à une pluralité d’approches disciplinaires en arts, lettres, langues, sciences humaines et sociales (ALL-SHS) : arts du spectacle, histoire, anthropologie, sociologie, sciences de l’éducation, sciences et techniques des activités physiques et sportives, etc.

“How I became a writer”: writers frequently give retrospective accounts of their professional journeys, shaped by lofty ambitions and the challenges faced in gaining recognition. The profession of a writer appears to remain relatively unformalized all around the world, and marked by a temporal gap between vocation and consecration. “Entering literature” is thus the subject of biographical reassessments, in which authors seek to locate the points of entry into the literary vocation, prior to any recognition. We seek to explore literary forms of self-narration that recount the experiences of becoming a writer. While essential in shaping authorial postures, these accounts are often at odds with the actual conditions of writing. In the attempt to understand how these accounts intersect with experiences of literary exposure, authorial postures, and literary genres, we examine a broad range of situations and pay attention to cultural variability. Attending to these first-person narratives of entering literature thus enables us to consider subjective self-perceptions alongside external designations from different legitimizing bodies, such as critics, academics, and institutions.

Cette journée d’étude propose d’accueillir des travaux de recherche originaux montrant toute la diversité du mouvement Wikimédia. Ils pourront porter sur les projets officiels de la Wikimedia Fondation ou de Wikimédia France (à l’exclusion des travaux ne portant que sur l’encyclopédie Wikipédia) et les projets qui bénéficient de leur soutien (Vikidia, Lingua Libre, etc.), mais aussi sur des terrains à l’intersection de plusieurs de ces projets (la Fondation et ses chapitres locaux, Metawiki, Mediawiki, Wikimania, etc.). Ils privilégieront des approches socio-techniques, explorant les interactions entre les contenus, les outils, leurs créateurs, leurs utilisateurs, ainsi que les configurations sociales générées par les différents projets.

The main ambition of this call is to examine the strategies mobilized by Chinese cultural actors and to question the role of digital platforms in the attempt to create a cultural contraflow that could gain worldwide recognition. What are the specificities of the Chinese cultural industries and to what extent can they provide an alternative to the contemporary globalized cultural landscape? How do musicians, directors, content producers or game developers navigate their commodified and supervised environment domestically and strengthen their chances of success abroad? To what extent do Chinese cultural platforms take part in the broadcast and the recognition of Chinese popular culture(s) beyond the country’s borders, be it in the West or in other nations of the Global South?
