Socio-spatial representations and relationship with others
The fifth call for papers from the International Conference of the Cartotête network intends to bring together researchers interested in the impact of the relationship with others in the process of cognitive mapping. Our biannual conference will be devoted to themes which aim to better understand to which extent the relationship with others affects the social representations of geographical space, so as for broadening the horizon of research works carried out on the collective memory and the social space. Relevance will be granted to the alterity, especially in its contemporary and concrete reality without excluding its symbolic dimensions.

Brain principles contribution to cities design
Spatial and temporal scales

Underground cities. Living below the surface: supporting urban transition to sustainability
Sixth rencontres internationales de Reims on Sustainability Science
The sixth edition of the Rencontres Internationales de Reims on Sustainability Science addresses the habitability of underground spaces, and how they can contribute to successful urban transitions to sustainability. Traditionally, the focus in the three-dimensional city is only on height growth. Still, urban subterranean world already host components and networks crucial to ensure a proper functioning of the city. In addition, more and more cities are also designing their future development underground, around the world.
