  Le Colloque international « Patrimoine culturel africain et technologies numériques : usages, innovations, et circulation des savoirs et des pratiques » ambitionne de réunir, pendant trois jours au mois de juin 2025, les acteurs qui animent et nourrissent les champs de recherche du patrimoine culturel et des humanités numériques en Afrique. Il envisage programmer des panels, des communications, des présentations de posters autour des principaux axes thématiques qui ont rassemblés et passionnés — depuis la fondation de l’Association PatriMundus en 2020 — des centaines de chercheur·e·s, professionnel·le·s et étudiant·e·s dans les différents domaines du patrimoine : musées, monuments, sites, pratiques numériques, expériences des publics.

  Travailler et vivre sur son lieu de travail

  Les propositions de communication devront interroger l’interpénétration entre l’espace de travail et l’espace de vie, ou l’espace de travail et de hors-travail. Il s’agira  de se pencher sur la manière dont les moments de travail et de hors-travail s’ancrent dans un même lieu, y sont négociés et/ou y entrent en concurrence. Quelles places le travail et le hors-travail occupent-ils dans la conception des espaces productifs, mais aussi dans la manière dont ils sont concrètement vécus, pratiqués et appropriés ? Comment la ligne de partage entre lieux (et moments) de vie et travail a-t-elle évolué depuis les époques les plus anciennes et sous quelles formes ? Dans quelle mesure est-elle véritablement opérante ? Comment se traduisent spatialement les rythmes du travail et du hors-travail ? Les moments de vie et de travail se déroulent-ils dans un seul et même lieu ou s’ancrent-ils dans des espaces spécifiques, strictement distincts ? Peut-on plus généralement dissocier la dimension temporelle de la dimension spatiale entre le travail et le hors travail ? Dans quelle mesure les lieux de travail sont-ils aussi des lieux de vie ? Comment sont-ils vécus et appropriés ? La fonction productive d’un lieu de travail peut-elle être subvertie par les acteurs qui l’occupent ?

  The International Conference Choròi parálleloi. Pathways on Dance and Ancient Performance: Philology and Contemporary Visions will accept work proposals and outcomes reflecting the multiple research lines in the field of dance in the Classical and Late Antiquity as well as in the Middle Ages, taking into account recent philological acquisitions (literary and documentary sources, exegesis of Christian texts) and contemporary investigation methodologies. Our goal is to project historical-philological studies onto a terrain of dialogue encompassing performance and performance practice studies, both reconstructive and 'exegetical' through the incorporation of ancient myths.

  How do children engage in ritualised daily practices and rituals?

  This interdisciplinary conference addresses the processes and experiences oftransmission and learning of knowledge and competences to and by children, withoutpresuming a priori the limits of childhood. The central question that will guide thediscussions concerns the ways in which ritualised contexts – secular or religious – providea vehicle for the integration and transformation of knowledge, ways of thinking, normsand values, skills and attitudes within various socialising frameworks. The conference willtherefore contribute to the debates on the conditions for the perpetuation and change ofsocial practices in general, and (co)educational practices in particular, in different regionsof the world and in different eras.

  Faire société(s) avec les animaux pour/par le paysage : constats, actions, perspectives

  Où sont les autres dans cette forme si singulière d’appréhension du réel qu’une partie de l’humanité a fini par appeler paysage, landschaft, landscape, paisagio, medio ambiante... Au-delà des seuls « autres humains », comment s’y loge la multiplicité des êtres avec qui nous cohabitons la Terre ? C’est là le vaste sujet que ce numéro de la revue Projets de paysage propose d’explorer. En partie seulement, puisqu’il ne s’agira ici « que » des animaux. Comment l’idée de paysage évolue-t-elle au contact des animaux ? Comment évoluent nos façons d’agir, nos comportements de ménagement ou d’aménagement de nos espaces de vie ? Au nom du paysage, que faisons-nous pour contribuer au mouvement général de cohabitation de la Terre avec les autres, animaux et vivants ? Ce dossier est ouvert autant aux chercheurs et chercheuses sensibles au sujet qu’à des paysagistes, artistes, architectes ou autres spécialistes de l’action sur l’espace et les territoires qui auraient fait des expériences de processus ou conduites de projets ou d’études, susceptibles d’alimenter la rubrique « Matières premières », en forme de récits ou de retours d’expériences, ou d’être portées sur un niveau plus réflexif dans la rubrique « Dossier thématique ».

  Action directe et performance

  Une nouvelle rencontre entre l’art et le politique

  Depuis une soixantaine d’années, de plus en plus d’artistes investissent l’espace public, tandis que les actions politiques recourent parfois explicitement à des méthodes artistiques. Deux concepts existent pour penser ces modes d’action : l’action directe et la performance. Il est toutefois rare de lire des travaux qui mobilisent les deux concepts en même temps, et plus rares encore sont celles et ceux qui le font de manière réflexive et critique. C’est pour combler cette lacune que nous proposons cette journée d’étude. Nous souhaitons qu’elle prenne à bras le corps la question de l’articulation, possible ou non, entre l’action directe et la performance.

Le projet ARCHERIF a pour objectif de sensibiliser les établissements d’Enseignement Supérieur et de Recherche (ESR) en France aux enjeux du racisme systémique, en s’appuyant sur les meilleures pratiques internationales. En collaboration avec des acteurs universitaires français et étrangers, ARCHERIF vise à concevoir des ressources pédagogiques et à établir des standards pour promouvoir un environnement inclusif dans les campus français. En tant que stagiaire de recherche qualitative, vous contribuerez aux enquêtes qualitatives menées dans des ESR.

  Interdisciplinary Center for History, Cultures, and Societies (CIDEHUS) Publications – Open call for manuscript submissions

  The CIDEHUS (Interdisciplinary Center for History, Cultures, and Societies) is a non-profit research unit in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. Its core discipline is History, and its scientific program focuses on studying the impact of diversity and changes in the South over the long term. The "South" it engages with is multifaceted: not only the South of Portugal but also this political formation in the context of Southern Europe and the geographies of the southern hemisphere with which it has had historical ties in the past. It publishes two collections of academic books, both of which undergo scientific peer review by international committees, using the "double-blind peer review" system. These collections are titled: "Biblioteca - Estudos & Colóquios" and "Fontes & Inventários." As the name suggests, the latter is dedicated to disseminating research tools and sources that aid researchers in their work.

  Lexis, framing, timings, 19th‒21st century in the Middle East

  Is preaching consubstantial with crisis? Did the different religious traditions present in the Middle East come to grip with the notion of crisis during the contemporary period? This workshop examines the similarities and divergences between preaching endeavours by the different religious traditions and the transformations in religious discourse in the Middle East from the end of the 19th century onwards. Through a comparative and diachronic analysis, it aims to identify what "constitutes a crisis" for particular religious actors at a given moment in the contemporary history of the Middle East (e.g. military defeat, feelings of inferiority vis-à-vis Europe, demographic decline of a given religious group, secularisation of institutions, rise of atheism, etc.)

  Les génocides dans le regard des artistes

  L’Université des deux années précédentes 2023 et 2024 a été consacrée à l’enfant dans l’univers des génocides : avant, pendant, après. Notre questionnement volontairement multidisciplinaire concernait plusieurs pistes de réflexions mêlant chronologie et thèmes. Certains intervenants se sont appuyés déjà sur la création artistique ou littéraire des rescapés comme exorcisation des déchirures qu’ils avaient subies. Ils anticipaient à la marge le thème que nous avons choisi pour l’Université 2025 : les génocides dans le regard des artistes, graphistes, plasticiens et sculpteurs exclusivement. Parmi les victimes des génocides dont ARES explore le champ d’étude, de nombreux artistes ont été emportés dans tourmente brisant vies et carrières. Certains ont cependant réussi à créer, à laisser des traces visuelles clandestines là où leurs tortionnaires misaient sur le secret.

  S’engager dans une carrière de danseur-euse nécessite de faire de nombreux sacrifices : l’engagement est souvent précoce, l’accès à l’emploi est difficile et le rythme de vie est marqué par l’instabilité géographique et les abnégations personnelles. Dans le même temps, l’entrée dans ce métier offre une reconnaissance sociale singulière et permet d’accéder à un style de vie qualifié tantôt « d’artiste » ou de « bohème ». Partant du constat que devenir danseur-euse c’est intégrer un monde professionnel et souvent modifier en profondeur son style de vie, cette journée d’étude vise à interroger la transformation des individus à travers la socialisation dans un métier artistique. En somme, qu’apprend-on, qu’apprend-on à faire, qu’apprend-on à être quand on pratique la danse ?
