Cette journée entend interroger les finalités de cette mise en nombre : s’agit-il de compter pour contrôler, pour stigmatiser, pour exclure ou marginaliser ou bien pour mieux intégrer ? Qui et dans quelle mesure ce nombre va-t-il inquiéter ou rassurer ?

By choosing to focus on South-North circulations, this seminar is dedicated to the deconstruction of the “British Empire” as a homogeneous category to write and think about the intellectual, artistic, and political histories of the people who circulate and inhabit this polity known as the Commonwealth of Nations in the post-Bandung era. Working from the assumption that committed artists, intellectuals and political activists from the Global South have networked and connected within this space, we seek to interrogate the counter-hegemonic nature of the knowledge, theories and artistic practices produced during the post-Bandung era.

Notre définition de la famille est façonnée par les modèles fournis par la société. Une chose est claire, le système familial traditionnel, composé d’une femme et d’un homme, est perçu comme un modèle standard, socialement valorisé. Cependant, depuis de nombreuses décennies des métamorphoses frappantes sur le plan familial et conjugal se sont produites et nos sociétés ont diversifié leurs modèles relationnels pour inclure les relations hors mariages, les mères célibataires, les familles monoparentales, les familles reconstituées, etc. Cet appel à contribution pour la revue Savoirs pluridisciplinaires et sante mentale vise à croiser les lectures entre disciplines scientifiques et entre contextes nationaux, en articulant les travaux de recherches empiriques et les études théoriques pour favoriser un échange pluridisciplinaire sur les dynamiques familiales.

Nous souhaitons interroger les représentations de l’exil, du déracinement et de la mémoire dans les pratiques visuelles et filmiques des artistes et cinéastes iranien·nes en exil. Une attention particulière sera portée aux récits portés par des trajectoires individuelles ou collectives, ainsi qu’aux formes critiques, sensibles ou expérimentales de ces expressions. Les artistes, cinéastes, actrices et acteurs concerné·es par ces thématiques sont également les bienvenu·es.

Réinventer la narration de soi et du monde dans les sociétés européennes pluralistes
Ce colloque interdisciplinaire entend susciter le dialogue entre tous les arts et toutes les disciplines qui, d’une façon ou d’une autre, s’attachent à raconter ou à faire parler les traces et histoires que la migration laisse dans les différentes strates des sociétés européennes contemporaines. Pensé dans un esprit comparatiste, il encourage aussi la rencontre d’études menées sur les récits de la postmigration dans différents contextes culturels et linguistiques européens (Allemagne, Belgique, France, Italie, Espagne, Scandinavie, Royaume-Uni, etc.).

Cinquante ans d’acquisition documentaire et de recherche
Depuis les années 1970, les études autochtones d’Amériques du Nord (ou études amérindiennes) se sont développées aux États-Unis et au Canada, assez peu en France : l’université Bordeaux Montaigne est l’une des rares universités françaises dans laquelle se déploie une recherche en études autochtones depuis les années 1980. En appui du travail des chercheur·ses, l’un des plus importants fonds documentaires du pays dans le domaine s’est constitué au sein de l’établissement, abrité en partie par la bien nommée bibliothèque Rigoberta Menchú.

Trans-Indigenous readings of contemporary literature from Canada and the rest of the Americas
The aim of this international workshop on contemporary Indigenous literatures and literary practices in Canada and the rest of the Americas is twofold. Firstly, it lies in exploring the (potential or already existing) implications and applications of the trans-Indigenous comparative methodology proposed by Chadwick Allen in his book Trans-Indigenous: Methodologies for Global Native Literary Studies. The second aim of this workshop is to create a space in which the growing number of researchers in Indigenous studies (including doctoral and postdoctoral researchers), both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, can share their knowledge and reflect together on the possibility of contributing to the development and the consolidation of this field through the collective construction of a critical practice of trans-American Indigenous literary studies research.

Cette journée d’étude sera l’occasion de revenir sur la responsabilité des acteurs du patrimoine face aux naufrages collectifs – au sens propre et aux sens figurés. Pensée comme comme un espace de formation et d’échange, elle entend poser ces questions pour l’ensemble des spécialités professionnelles du patrimoine, tant dans les domaines de la conservation matérielle que de la recherche, du patrimoine culturel immatériel, de la mémoire et de la valorisation auprès des publics. Cette journée a pour objectif de mettre en lumière les différentes recherches en cours dans le champ patrimonial et d’interroger notre responsabilité, scientifique et éthique, face aux histoires naufragées. Une attention particulière sera portée au rôle des institutions patrimoniales dans leurs approches de la conservation et de la valorisation.

The aim of this conference is to study the dissident/resistant student press produced both in Central-Eastern and Southeastern Europe and by students from these countries abroad.

This issue will examine the multiplicity of dimensions that exist within the relationship between contemporary artistic sound creation and tragic situations of exile, provoked by a multitude of factors, including geopolitical, social, economic, and religious conflicts, as well as discrimination. The study will examine the migratory paths of exiled musicians to assess the impact of forced displacement on their creative processes and musical practices.

In this beautiful spring, when the Italian seas become crowded with migrants in search of a land to build on – and not all of them survive – we propose to discuss the relationship between architecture and roots: whether they are understood in ideal, metaphorical terms; or in material, practical ones, referring to the complex but often original and fruitful experience of architecture made far from one’s own homeland.

En analysant, une décennie après la fin de la Guerre Froide, les changements survenus au cours du dernier quart du siècle passé sur le plan de l’expérience et des perceptions du temps. Le caractère multidimensionnel de la mémoire historique et ses rapports avec l’avenir dans le contexte des « transformations sans précédent » entraînées par le progrès technologique et par les défis climatiques représentent également des axes majeurs dans les recherches récentes en historiographie et en philosophie de l’histoire. À l’intersection de la mémoire historique avec celle politique, la nostalgie fonctionne comme « une épée à deux tranchants », en ce qu’elle semble être tant « un antidote émotionnel pour la politique », que « le meilleur instrument politique ». Les chercheurs de divers domaines sont encouragés à soumettre des propositions explorant plusieurs thèmes liés à la mémoire, à la nostalgie et à l’utopie en Europe post-Guerre Froide.

We thus call for the study of the circulation and transfers of political and cultural ideas but also the intellectual trajectories of individuals, collectives and institutions.
