  Ce colloque entend explorer les liens qu’entretiennent la liberté académique et la démocratie universitaire. L’université est, en effet, une institution singulière puisqu’elle est la seule à être dirigée par une autorité élue dans le cadre d’un principe d’autogouvernement.

  Sex (Mis)Education in the English-Speaking World

  Historical, Literary and Socio-political Perspectives

  This call for papers seeks contributions that will engage with the competing forms of formal and informal sex education as they pertain to the English-speaking world with a special focus on English speaking societies from the Indian ocean. Our aim is to propose varied, innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to the broad question of sex education, welcoming papers from historians, linguists, literary critics, sociologists, specialists in gender studies and others. Keeping in mind Foucault’s notion that sex is both hyper visible and taboo, we aim at providing in-depth discussions which will help better understand both formal and informal sex education taking into account the fact that sex education is fraught with cultural tensions and political feuds.

  Repenser le savoir, refonder l’université

  XVIIe colloque annuel international de la Société d'activités et de recherches sur les mondes indiens (SARI) 2022

  L’université est un des lieux (parmi d’autres) de formation, de production et de transmission des savoirs. Si le but de la formation est de participer à une transformation sociale, les universités sont un des espaces « sans condition » (selon les mots de Derrida) pour échanger avec ses contemporains. En tant que lieu de brassage de populations, de rencontres et d’hospitalité, l’université peut témoigner de la naissance des luttes de pouvoir en tendant un miroir à la société. Ce colloque s'intéressera aux questions qui détermineront l'avenir de l'enseignement supérieur, en Inde, mais aussi dans le Sud global : comment continuer à « produire » et à partager des savoirs face à la libéralisation sans fin ? Quels choix, quels parcours, quelle(s) recherche(s) proposer dans les offres de formation à l’université au XXI^e siècle ? Comment repenser le savoir et refonder l’université en réinventant les missions de transmission et de recherche académiques pour répondre aux enjeux de notre époque et anticiper ceux des prochaines générations ?

  Quality Assurance and Value Management in Higher Education

  Quality et conduite de la valeur pour l'enseignement du supérieur (pédagogie, organisation etc.)

  This book will aim to provide identified and relevant proposals of good practices to promote the outcomes and favor the issues of Higher Education providers; proposals that integrate all stakeholders dialogic expectations (the clients: trainers, trainees, companies and society) in a resolutely innovative optical within the sense of sustainability and the EFQM Excellence model. Within theoretical results into perspective by the concrete practice work, clues will be presented to help quality through design process, pedagogy, organization and management for WIL in Higher Education. Value management principles and standards are considered as a global framework to develop such trainings to achieve success in a European Environment (European Standards and Guidelines) but not only: facing uncertainties and constraints. Obviously strategy, policy and leadership have to be considered.
