Aquinomix - Thomas Aquinas' economic thought: an interdisciplinary approach
To mark the eighth centenary of the birth of Thomas Aquinas, the Centre d'études du Saulchoir, a multi-disciplinary research centre run by the Dominicans of the Province of France, and the PHARE research centre at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, which specialises in the history of economic thought, in partnership with the Commissio Leonina, in charge of the critical edition of the works of Thomas Aquinas, and the Société thomiste, intend to offer this conference as an opportunity for an interdisciplinary encounter centred on the economic thought of Aquinas. Honouring an interdisciplinary approach to the economic thought of Thomas Aquinas, the conference will address the historical dimension of the texts and their context, the philosophical and theological dimension, the dimension specific to economic analysis and the practical dimension.

En 2022-2023, l’apparition de l’intelligence artificielle (IA) générative a bouleversé nos sociétés, et ce particulièrement au point de vue informationnel, médiatique et culturel. Bien qu’associée à des promesses de démocratisation et de progrès, l’IA générative a rapidement été cooptée par les GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook [Meta], Amazon et Microsoft – à qui on ajoute parfois Tesla et Nvidia) qui s'en sont servis pour augmenter leur pouvoir épistémique et infrastructurel. Cette capture du pouvoir de l’IA par des géants de la technologie crée selon nous plusieurs défis qu’il est impératif d’analyser de manière critique et interdisciplinaire.

Les enjeux fonciers et immobiliers associés aux réseaux font l’objet de travaux récents mais restent peu étudiés au sein de la recherche urbaine. Ce numéro spécial de Flux souhaite ainsi rassembler des contributions portant sur les pratiques foncières et immobilières d’acteurs des réseaux, qu’ils soient publics ou privés, dans des secteurs variés (transport, mais aussi déchets, énergie, eau, logistique, etc.).

Sources, scope, and legitimacy of critical economic knowledge
The study of economic knowledge and its political influence has largely focused on central sites of power and on its academic production. This conference seeks to broaden that perspective by examining marginalized economic knowledge and the dynamics of its (de-)marginalization. It will specifically address the development of lay or relegated economic theories and practices, considering their logic of legitimation, the actors, spaces, and actions that generate them, and their relative autonomy. The conference will concentrate on the long twentieth century and welcomes proposals from all disciplines within the humanities and social sciences.

Or, atténuer ce bouleversement et s’y adapter nécessitent de transformer nos institutions. La protection sociale dans ses différentes facettes est concernée au premier chef, elle peut contribuer à une transition juste et désirable. Comment prendre appui sur les communs pour enrichir l’analyse du nouveau régime écologique dans lequel s’engagent les systèmes de protection sociale et la conception des politiques sociales qui pourraient s’y développer ? Tel est le questionnement général que vise à éclairer ce dossier.

Appel à communication pour les sciences humaines et sociales au congrès de médecine générale, France
L’apport des sciences humaines et sociales (SHS) à la médecine, bien que toujours confidentiel au sein des formations initiale et continue en médecine, est bien réel depuis les années 1970. L’apport des SHS à la médecine générale s’est plus tardivement développé, mais on assiste depuis une dizaine d’années à un regain d’intérêt pour cette profession en construction. Il persiste malgré tout un manque de connaissance par la profession médicale de ces études. Le congrès de médecine générale France souhaite s’ouvrir aux chercheurs de sciences humaines et sociales traitant de sujets relatifs à la médecine ambulatoire, à la maladie, à l’épistémologie de la médecine, à la promotion de la santé, à l’éthique clinique ou à l’organisation du système de soins.

The word crisis, derived from the Greek word krisis, means judgment, decision. Conceptually speaking, “a crisis is an illness” (a conceptual metaphor justified diachronically by its etymological meaning of “the decisive phase of an illness”), or “it is a war”, if we focus on the meaning of “an outbreak with violent manifestations”. It is, therefore, a moment of major change. Our societies are plagued by successive and often overlapping crises, enabling them - if not forcing them - to evolve and transform themselves. The conference will focus on two parallel and complementary themes: “The economic crisis / The economy of the crisis” and “Discourse in a time of crisis”.

Articuler les traditions politico-intellectuelles de l’écoféminisme français et allemand dans une perspective globale
In light of the ecological crisis ecofeminist thought that first emerged as political-ethical and theoretical field during the late 1970s and 1980s has flourished in French and German debates during the last decade. The aim of the conference is to examine the ways in which ecofeminist theory is currently discussed in France and Germany, and how – in both national contexts – the respective traditions of ecofeminist thought and politics are re-articulated, criticized and transformed. Thereby the question how post- and neo-colonial power relations that shape the current ecological situation are addressed in ecofeminist thought will be of central importance. The conference seeks to re-evaluate traditions of ecofeminist thought in French and German speaking contexts, their uneven circulation and their present-day re-articulations.

Une approche méso de l’économie sociale et solidaire, comparaison franco-québécoise
Ce projet de numéro de la revue Interventions économiques / Papers in Political Economy propose d’ouvrir une discussion sur l’approche méso de l’ESS, autour de comparaisons franco-québécoises, dans le champ de l’économie politique institutionnaliste, et en dialogue avec d’autres disciplines (sciences politiques, gestion, etc.). En quoi la mésoanalyse peut permettre d’appréhender plus finement les reconfigurations actuelles et les dynamiques favorisant/contraignant le développement de l’ESS comme espace relativement autonome, différencié et interdépendant avec le régime macroéconomique ? Sont attendus des comparaisons entre la France et le Québec avec des articles qui analysent les situations de l’ESS française ou québécoise voire les comparent ou en s’intéressant à certains secteurs, en considérant les évolutions des politiques publiques, leur rapport aux territoires, aux mouvements sociaux et aux capitalismes propres à chaque espace.
