  Call for papers - Epistemology and methodology

  The poetics and epistemology of history in France and Germany in the late 18th and early 19th century

  Dans le cadre du Programme de formation - recherche « Poétique du récit historique », une journée d’études consacrée à la « Poétique et à l’épistémologie de l’histoire en France et en Allemagne à la fin du XVIIIe et au début du XIXe siècle » aura lieu à l’université de Halle les 23 et 24 mai 2013. Cette journée d'étude se propose d'étudier et de comparer les nouvelles formes d'appropriation de l'histoire qui apparaissent en France et en Allemagne à la fin du XVIIIe et au début du XIXe siècle, à un moment où les limites entre le champ des belles-lettres et celui de l’histoire érudite présentent encore une certaine porosité.

  PhD scholarships of the International Max Planck Research School for Anthropology, Archaeology and History of Eurasia

  PhD grants of the International Max Planck Research School for Anthropology, Archaeology and History of Eurasia. Starting 1 October 2012. The PhD Grants are generally awarded for 2 years, with the possibility of two six-month extensions. Workplace for successful candidates is Halle / Saale (except when undertaking field or archival research elsewhere, the costs of which will be covered).
