  Cultural and Creative Industries of Childhood and Youth

  VIIIth Interdisciplinary Conference on Child and Teen Consumption

  The interdisciplinary conference « Child and Teen Consumption » aims to facilitate in-depth dialogue between researchers from various disciplines: management, psychology, sociology, information and communication, anthropology, history, educational sciences, law, etc. Whilst the 8^th conference will aim to continue interdisciplinary research and dialogue on broad themes related to children and young people as consumers, the theme of the 2018 conference will be « Cultural and Creative Industries of Childhood and Youth » in order to reflect its location in Angoulême and the growing research and public policy interest in this topic. The conference aims to highlight research in this domaine and invites producers of cultural material to bring their views to the debate.

  Call for papers - Representation

  Disabled and mutilated bodies in graphic novels

  Les rencontres d’Angoulême, co-organisées par l’université de Poitiers (MSHS, Criham, Forell…), la CitéI, le Pôle Image Magelis, avec la participation de l’EESI, le CPER Insect, Grand Poitiers, Grand Angoulême, Région Nouvelle Aquitaine, tiendra sa quatrième édition en décembre 2017. Elle portera sur les corps handicapés et les corps mutilés. En dehors des monstres, des zombies et autres morts-vivants, la BD célèbre pratiquement depuis ses origines les corps athlétiques et sensuels, magnifiés par le talent de dessinateurs venant d’horizons très différents. L’univers des corps handicapés et mutilés ne se limite pas à ces albums. Dès que l’on y prête attention, ils s’avèrent fort nombreux. La visée du présent colloque et d’en rendre compte à travers quatre approches.
