Seminar - Epistemology and methodology
Alors que la quantification suscite un regain d'intérêt en sciences sociales, l’objectif de ce séminaire est d’ouvrir une réflexion sur les pratiques de quantification, en particulier les opérations de qualification, les différentes méthodes de traitement, et l’interprétation des résultats. Quelles sont les limites de validité des énoncés adossés à des données quantitatives ? Comment et pourquoi articuler données « qualitatives » et « quantitatives » ? Comment passer de sources « qualitatives » à des données quantifiables ? Telles sont les questions qui guideront les activités du séminaire cette année.
