Dans le cadre des activités de l'axe transversal « sociétés numériques » de la MSH Ange-Guépin, son comité de Pilotage a décidé d'organiser des journées doctorales en rapport avec les deux thèmes suivants : Mutations des pratiques en régime numérique. Ce thème couvre l'ensemble des recherches qui visent à comprendre les processus à l'oeuvre dans la transformation des pratiques sociales (recherche, travail, économie, enseignement, citoyenneté, etc.) liées au numérique, dans son acception la plus large ; Critiques, appropriations, résistances. Il s'agit ici de s'intéresser à l'ensemble des expressions ou des formes de mises à distance à la fois par rapport aux mutations qui s'opèrent sur les pratiques, et, globalement, par rapport au numérique pour ce qu'il représente et ce qu'il engage.

‘Bad Kind’: The Dark Energy of the Literary System
Bad literature is damned to oblivion. Focused mostly on valuable texts, our academic knowledge of the literary world is restricted to an extremely exclusive selection among its potential objects of research. Invariably, good taste filters literary materials in spite of its proven versatility in the course of history, and in spite of the instability not only of the canon of ‘great texts’, but also of the institutions in charge of its transmission. Consequently, texts of different sorts are discarded into darkness: failed and amateur works, venal writing, as well as literary forgeries and transgressions such as plagiarism. Bad literature includes most often pulp and popular literature (paraliterature) as well. Nevertheless, what if the rejected ‘bad taste’ was in fact similar to dark energy, which is invisible but probably predominant in the Universe?

Le rôle grandissant du multimédia, de l’internet et de ses réseaux sociaux dans les parcours de e-lecture apparaît désormais comme un poncif tant le consensus autour de « l’e-learning » est établi. Comment l’école et l’université adoptent-elles ces nouveaux modes de production et de diffusion du savoir, y compris dans leurs modalités d’accès ? Nous aimerions ici inviter les enseignants à faire part de leurs pratiques sur le « terrain » et à partager leurs retours d’expérience. En distinguant les différents supports techniques des ressources elles-mêmes, on se demandera ici quelles expérimentations et quelles pratiques construisent aujourd’hui réellement de nouveaux scénarios pédagogiques.

Paris sciences et lettres: arts and sciences
Ce workshop vise à faire un état des lieux des actions menées au sein du périmètre Paris sciences et lettres (PSL), au croisement des sciences et des arts, en relation avec le vivant. L’objectif est de mieux comprendre les pratiques interdisciplinaires dans lesquelles s’engagent des artistes, des designers et des chercheurs – en sciences sociales comme en sciences de la nature. Tout en réfléchissant aux éclairages que ces projets apportent sur ce qu’est la vie et sur la transition non-vivant / vivant, on s’attachera à préciser les contextes institutionnels au sein desquels émergent ces expérimentations qui explorent les manières de mettre la « vie à l’œuvre », c’est-à-dire de créer des œuvres avec le vivant tout autant qu’à faire travailler des êtres vivants ou des processus vitaux.

“History in Africa” Journal
This featured section of History in Africa will address the wave of digitisation of archives in Africa over the last fifteen years. With the rise of information technologies, an increasing part of public – and to some extent private - African archives are being digitised and made accessible on the internet. This wave of digitisation is usually seen as a progress with the help of ambitious initiatives applying new technologies to cultural heritage of humanity such as the rescue of the manuscripts of Timbuktu or the Endangered Archives programme at the British Library. Yet as much as these new technologies raise enthusiasm, they also prompt discussions amongst researchers and archivists, which go from intellectual property to sovereignty and governance.
