From Geneses to Present Day: challenges and perspectives
Arab and African animation has come into the spotlight, gaining more visibility in international festivals by virtue of a renewal of interest and curiosity for these societies since the popular uprising of 2011. The primary aim of this conference is to bring attention to film production that is still barely explored in film discursive practices and to expand the existing knowledge base on film and animation. The second objective is to map the theoretical field of African and Arab animation by approaching it as a whole.

Alors que le traducteur tente de rendre un texte accessible, culturellement parlant, à un nouveau public tout en respectant son contexte original ; l’anthropologue cherche à dévoiler les significations implicites et les dynamiques internes de la population étudiée. C’est ainsi que l’intégration de la diversité culturelle est primordiale dans un contexte où les deux sphères, traduction et anthropologie, sont décidément proches en matière d’interaction sociolinguistique et culturelle.

L’origine étymologique de la cruauté est « cruor ». Ce mot signifie le sang qui coule, le sang versé, le sang répandu.Dans le domaine de l’art, la cruauté est un thème majeur, lequel thème habite l’histoire de l’art depuis l’Antiquité. Expression de la fureur des dieux, au début, elle apparait par la suite dans la pensée religieuse chrétienne du Moyen-âge. L’art n’est-il pas ainsi un espace où l’on décharge la cruauté qui habite les profondeurs de l’être humain ? Plusieurs pistes de réflexion s’ouvrent à nous, mais on ne peut pas les soulever sans faire appel à plusieurs domaines, à l’instar de la philosophie, l’histoire, la religion, la littérature, l’art, la psychanalyse, la sociologie, etc.

The interdisciplinary colloquium on “Nights of the South” will provide an opportunity for researchers from different disciplines, artists, association leaders, practitioners and elected officials from many countries to take stock of this work on and in the Global South. The aim will be to better understand the evolution of urban and rural nightlife and the ways of living and inhabiting nights at different scales according to cultures, countries, territories, cities; to identify evolutions, tensions, inequalities of access, but also strategies for the development or protection of nights carried out by different actors; and to reflect upon the preferred forms of governance of the night.

Ibn Khaldun: Universal Thought and Shared Heritage
Despite numerous studies and research on Ibn Khaldun, several aspects related to his life and thought require further exploration and analysis. Ibn Khaldun, as a symbolic historical figure, is considered a heritage that is both shared and contested by many contemporary countries that seek to "monopolize" affiliation with this figure and his intellectual contributions. This workshop, which coincides with the 692nd anniversary of Ibn Khaldun's birth, aims to contribute to deeper research on the life and thoughts of this eminent figure. Its aim is to understand how political and intellectual circles, both in the East and in the West, have received Khaldunian thought since the Middle Ages, but especially after its "rediscovery" in the contemporary era.

Elle aspire à être une source d’inspiration, à encourager des perspectives variées et à créer un réseau de soutien pour les artistes qui ont choisi de s’exprimer librement.

L’objectif est d’interroger la question migratoire dans toute sa complexité, ainsi que la vulnérabilité de la personne migrante, eu égard à sa stigmatisation et aux différentes visions dévalorisantes et/ou valorisantes à son sujet, des discours et des images qui demeurent polémiques et pourraient engendrer des dérapages et des glissements sémantiques, constituant ainsi l’objet d’étude de chercheurs appartenant à différents champs disciplinaires.

Afin de lui permettre de s’engager pleinement dans les différents processus de création proposés, il est donc essentiel que l’artiste pédagogue instaure un climat de confiance, dans un espace protégé, ce que Winnicott nomme l’espace potentiel. Quelles sont les actions pédagogiques et artistiques permettant de créer un espace, intime d’abord, mais pouvant également permettre de s’ouvrir à l’autre, au partenaire de jeu et au groupe, puis au spectateur ?

The last several decades have witnessed that memory of heritage has been on top of scientific research, reflection and interpretation and has marked increase in research in relation to cultural heritage, memory and change, and to transformation within the field of heritage studies. It is considered to be the heritage of tangible and intangible heritage assets of a group or society that is inherited from past generations, which has been reconstructed in present to make it accessible and beneficial to new generations. Therefore, memory of heritage is an interdisciplinary instrument that plays a significant role in shaping a sense of identity and a source of inspiration for creativity and innovation, but it is also can be a reason of exclusion, or even hostage to political conflicts and ideological debates.

Writing history in the Maghreb (7th-20th centuries)

Studies in Arab historiography generally focus on the Middle-East marginalizing the North African contribution, with the exception of Ibn Khaldūn. The aim is therefore to highlight the Maghreb intellectual production in offering researchers the opportunity to showcase authors and works of all kinds to renew the history of the Maghreb. The vast chronological framework aims to bring together medievalists, modernists and contemporaneists, all too often separated: while focusing on the intense medieval production, the symposium will be an opportunity to emphasize the continuities of these genres for the modern period and the colonial period, sources which are either understudied or only through French-language sources.

This congress is an interdisciplinary scientific research platform on the desert, arid lands, and the Sahara (hot drylands, hyperarid or semi-arid regions, oasis and remote rural areas) economy, management, and development, in order to contribute effectively to the good governance and in the sustainable development of arid lands worldwide, by stimulating meetings between all stakeholders on a global scale, with a view to fostering dialog, partnership, and cooperation among desert countries worldwide: Africa and the Gulf States (the MENA and the Sahel...), the United States of America, Australia, China, India, South America..., and creating a conducive environment to the exchange of experiences, expertise, trainings, educational practices and innovation, around themes related to the desert economy and to the arid lands management.

النماذج الجديدة للهجرة: رهانات وتحديات
La complexité des phénomènes migratoires donne naissance à une réflexion pluridisciplinaire à même de cerner les contours de ce fait social qui devient de plus en plus une caractéristique majeure de l’ère de la mondialisation. Les différentes formes de migration constituent ainsi un paradigme humain où le déplacement d’un lieu à un autre n’est plus un événement exceptionnel ou occasionnel, mais une habitude, une issue, un mode de vie fondé sur l’absence et prédéfini par les exigences de la modernité. Le colloque « La migration face aux nouveaux paradigmes : enjeux et défis »sera l’occasion d’un état des lieux de l’appréhension du phénomène migratoire selon une dimension pluridisciplinaire. Notre objectif est de s’ouvrir sur plusieurs domaines de recherche s’intéressant au phénomène migratoire.

L’intégrité scientifique : enjeux et défis
Art, design et plagiat
Définie par l’Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale (INSERM) comme « l’ensemble des règles et valeurs qui doivent régir l’activité de recherche pour en garantir le caractère honnête et scientifiquement rigoureux », l'intégrité scientifique se réfère à l'application rigoureuse et éthique des principes et des normes lors de la conduite responsable de la recherche et implique la présentation intègre et précise des données, la transparence des outils et des méthodes utilisés, la publication des résultats exacts, la crédibilité des sources et l'absence de falsification. Cependant, plusieurs chercheurs et communautés scientifiques violent gravement l’intégrité scientifique et portent atteinte à la confiance collective dans la recherche. Dans le domaine professionnel de l’art et du design, le plagiat peut être particulièrement difficile à identifier car il n’est pas toujours évident de détecter des normes claires et précises pour déterminer ce qui est considéré comme une œuvre originale. Cependant, les lois sur la protection des droits intellectuels et culturels avancent sur la nécessité de respecter les droits des auteurs et des créateurs.

Ce numéro tente de dépasser les approches du journalisme spécialisé sur la base de la différence ou, au contraire, de la convergence avec le journalisme généraliste en termes du sujets et de public cible, pour adopter des approches qui prennent en considération les spécificités et les complexités (professionnelles, sociales, économiques, etc...) de ce type de journalisme, notamment dans certains contextes tels que le numérique ou encore les situations de crises.
