VulneRom : Vulnérabilités sociolinguistiques dans l’espace roman

Le premier congrès international VulneRom : Vulnérabilités sociolinguistiques dans l’espace roman se constitue comme une rencontre académique d’interaction, d’échange et de réflexion sur l’étude ethnosociolinguistique des langues romanes qui se trouvent en situation de fragilité pour diverses raisons (démographiques, économiques, politiques, géographiques, voire climatiques, entre autres), qui peuvent conjointement conduire à la disparition desdites langues à court ou à long terme. Le traitement de la question de la vulnérabilité, appliqué au champ d’une famille de langues, telle que la famille romane, dans des situations de contact linguistique, apporte une réflexion complémentaire sur les facteurs intralinguistiques et interlinguistiques qui pourraient se répercuter sur le statut des langues les plus socialement et socialement défavorisées, ou même être exploités pour leur discrédit.

Cette journée d’étude examinera les dynamiques mémorielles au sein de l’espace sud-américain, en mettant l’accent sur la vaste question des lieux de mémoire et des musées. La première session abordera de façon plus spécifique les mondes amérindiens et s’interrogera sur leur reconnaissance citoyenne en tant qu’enjeux commémoratifs, muséaux, patrimoniaux, ou plus largement identitaires. Lors de la deuxième session, nous envisagerons les constructions mémorielles autour des répressions étatiques en interrogeant le rôle des citoyen·ne·s et des autorités à l’échelle locale et nationale : comment le passé violent devient-il un objet patrimonial ?

For a world history of the circus from Antiquity to the present day

For the past twenty years or so, the history of the circus has benefited from an undeniable scientific dynamism. While the circus is essentially an international art form, until now its history has mainly been written from a national perspective. The aim of this conference is to decompartmentalise these historiographies by inviting researchers in history and, more broadly, in the arts and the social sciences (performing arts, art history, sociology, anthropology, etc.), as well as those involved in the artistic and cultural world, to combine their approaches.

In Haiti, the migration issue is a key structural factor in understanding the realities of this society. Since the country’s first occupation by the United States in 1915, national life has been punctuated by the massive displacement of Haitians, making it a country of emigration. From 1915 to the post-2010 years, marked by the January 12 earthquake, the country experienced at least six major waves of migration. Starting from these considerations as a powerful factor of expulsion, there is an invitation to take stock of a century and more of Haitian emigration.

This interdisciplinary conference addresses the processes and experiences oftransmission and learning of knowledge and competences to and by children, withoutpresuming a priori the limits of childhood. The central question that will guide thediscussions concerns the ways in which ritualised contexts – secular or religious – providea vehicle for the integration and transformation of knowledge, ways of thinking, normsand values, skills and attitudes within various socialising frameworks.
