  Les sciences humaines et sociales à l’heure du numérique : qui est le peuple ?

  Séminaire doctoral francophone en ligne du Collège européen francophone en sciences humaines et sociales

  Cet appel est destiné aux doctorants francophones en sciences humaines et sociales des universités de l’Alliance 4EU+ et d’autres établissements. Les organisateurs de ce séminaire-wébinaire se posent pour objectif de mener une réflexion méthodologique, épistémologique et conceptuelle sur le numérique et d’effectuer des études de cas dans différents domaines de recherche appartenant à l’univers des sciences humaines et sociales, en se concentrant autour d’un thème fédérateur – le peuple. Les organisateurs invitent les propositions de réflexion concernant le peuple dans tous les sens du terme : en tant que construction politique, sociale, nationale, géographique, linguistique ou ethnique.

  Decolonizing Museum Cultures and Collections: Mapping Theory and Practice in East-Central Europe

  International conference for heritage scholars and practitioners

  This conference brings together curators, artists, scholars, and other intellectuals and cultural activists working on East-Central European heritage, to reflect on how the main trends of decolonial debate are intersecting in practical and theoretical terms with the heritage sector, with a particular focus on museums in the region. The conference will place special emphasis on mapping both the range of colonial histories embedded in, as well as decolonial approaches to, museum collections and practices in East-Central Europe.

  The sixth conference of the european network for the philosophy of the social sciences (ENPOSS)

  The European Network for the Philosophy of the Social Sciences (ENPOSS) invites contributions to its 6^th Conference to be held in Krakow in September of 2017 and organized by the Department of Philosophy of the Cracow University of Economics and the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies. Contributions from all areas within the philosophy of the social sciences are encouraged. Moreover, contributions from both philosophers and social scientists are welcome.

  Visualité des tactiques / tactiques de visualité dans la culture contemporaine

  Cet appel à contribution propose une réflexion sur la culture contemporaine dominée par les techniques visuelles et les médias dans la perspective des catégories de « tactiques » et « stratégies » élaborées par Michel de Certeau dans L’Invention du quotidien. Nous voulons nous focaliser sur la dimension « tactique » de visualité qui, tout en se manifestant dans la culture contemporaine de manières bien différentes (photographie, film, portrait, imagination, spectacle), constituera une forme inoffensive de résistance aux différentes représentations « panoptiques ».

  La transmission interculturelle des traditions intellectuelles au Moyen Âge et à la Renaissance : étude comparative

  An international team consisting of ten young researchers seeks five new collaborators to for a project entitled « Intercultural transmission of intellectual traditions in the Middle Ages and the early modern period: a comparative study ». The participants are expected to take part in two working symposia in Poland as well as to write a scholarly article in English dealing with a chosen case of intercultural transmission to be published in the collection of texts that is going to be the main result of the project. The participants will receive remuneration in the amount of 3500 PLN (approx. 1000 USD) together with reimbursement of their travel and accommodation during the symposia. PhD students in all disciplines of humanities are invited to submit their applications by 10 February 2012.
